Why don't we get an inflatable elephant and blow the blo00dy thing up where we get it to... erm wherever its going!? I've lost the plot now and forgot what we need it for anyway
Oh. I thought you'd asked for the elephant. Something to do with your ark wasn't it?
Look Mar, make up your mind. I'm not getting it out of of the garage and all scrubbed up and on the ferry if you don't really want it. It's a long way for the poor thing to walk if its not wanted. And then there are all the buns I have organised along the way.
Toasted Hot Cross Buns, anyone?

Sorry you are having such hassle with your flights

Thanks for the smiles.
I had a sleepless night in my riser - recliner, last November I triggered a gastric episode by eating roast chicken very late at night. It really wasn't pleasant.
Last night, having let November's events slip my mind, I ate some roast chicken a few hours earlier as a late evening snack, but got the same result. I didn't go to bed as sitting up brought some relief.
I wasn't as frightened or in as much pain as the first time, as I knew what it was.
Eventually I was sick at 7 and 8 am and that brought some relief. That was exactly what happened last time as well.
I had no firm plans for today so simply shut my eyes for an hour or two.. I woke at 2pm.
On the plus side, not eating late at all, ever, will make keeping my weight under control easier.
I had the obligatory hot cross bun today but my tummy stated that was enough. Milky hot chocolate drinks got some calories in to me, and I feel fine now.
A small problem compared with what some undergo, but I do wonder why things have changed now, when I was always fine before - I'm 60 next year, so perhaps that has something to do with it.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... No Candygirl, I sold all that on eBay! You should have read the adverts I wrote, they were better than 50 Shades!
It's very windy tonight the boat is buffering around but I've just topped up the fire and it's nice and warm.
The washing machine is loaded and ready to go on when we set off.
The kettle is full and ready for the first cuppa of the morning.
I'm adding to the 'jobs to do list' every time I look around I can see more that needs doing.
Captain Hot Stuff has decided to move the shower once we get to our home mooring and swap the pump out toiled for an elsan. Fingers crossed he does it before I retire so I can have a shower at work, otherwise I will get a bit wiffy!Chin up, Titus out.0 -

I found your elephant he's wandered into the prepping thread and is currently playing with the lion!!!0

Hester have been on narrow boats in all weathers but never yet got seasick...
BTW, is the elephant's route up to Mar via the A-roads or motorways? Only there are road works on the M6 and it may get delayed...2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Blow the elephant up just slightly more than normal and we can fly him up with a basket attached underneath for us to ride in, ne'mind the traffic but the sight of that may cause some mishaps on the roads as we pass overhead!!!0
