Flowers in the Attic, about a women who moved back in with her parents but hid her children in the Attic, but I can't remember why.
We're in Oxford, we went shopping and replaced all the clothes that fell in the cut!
We saw a heron and managed to take a photo.
We had lunch in a 'spoons pub called the Four Candles.
My sunburn is beginning to peel, I look like the Singing Detective.

Burtha is life ever quiet for you?

Hester The weather is good then. Were you both wearing your clothes when they fell in the cut?

I thought that was it but you two falling in was much funnier. The nice weather will be back on Tuesday once the bank holiday is over.

I seem to remember Flowers in the Attic was horrific - about a brother and sister incarcerated in an attic - maybe the father was involved?

edited to say Hester got there first!

McC It's such a comfort when the goodbye to someone who was well loved and respected is true to the person and acknowledges their individual personality .
A word of warning after reading the book i then googled the author and bought the bothy book , lovely if like me you're obsessed with them .
Burtha I hope you actually have a day doing only what you wish . You're like a whirling dervish ! Stay well x

Hope you all have a chance of a good break if possible over the next few days .

Nursemaggie Everything was sorted on the laptop but I still have Google and Firefox fighting each other which seems to be a known situation at the moment . Only happening when i try to log in to amazon and the forum . All the blogs I follow don't cause the problem . Malwarebytes keeps sending me messages then doing a quick scan and saying all is well . No idea what's going on but this site is not secure and I keep getting the padlock with the line through when I try to log in . Doesn't explain amazon though .

Been a long day here so wishing all a restful night

Evening all. I haven't a clue what you're all talking about (except the book about the attic) but I'm laughing hard. You lot really are a tonic.
