Fuddle: You are a darling and you understand me as few others do. Never mind my ramblings, this is YOUR week. You must be beside yourselves with excitement, tinged with just a tad of apprehension. This is a huge adventure for you and you have worked SO hard to get where you are now.
You, more than any other person I know, (and I know a lot of people) deserve every good thing that could possibly happen for you.

One good thing, the advent of a new bedroom may serve as a temporary truce for the girls. Or not, as the case may be.

Keep us up to speed with what is going on. We will be living every minute with you.

Just got up to speed with all the posts. Hugs Monna -the situation must be so difficult for you - I do hope you find a way forward soon.
Fuddles post made me think though - what would have happened if DS and DiL had not had your home to move in to? I know events have overtaken your plans but it seems you are the one doing all the accommodating for your lovely family - you are the one who had her world turned upsidedown and you are the one trying to cause as little inconvenience as possible in what is your own home. You are not the Ogre here - you have been put in a situation not of your own making - if your original plans had come to fruition your DS would have had to move - it's just come sooner than intended. Im sorry if this comes across as harsh but it's certainly not intended as I can understand how much anguish this must be causing you, our lovely gentle caring friend xxxx

Silvasava: Thank you for that. I really appreciate everyone's thoughtfulness. I'm sure that everything will work out in time.

More imminently, I had a phone call from the chairperson of a local wives group whose speaker has let them down for this evening. Would I consider stepping in and filling her place.

I'm a fool to myself, honestly I am.

A friend has suggested that I give them 45 minutes of "Sh*t's I Have Known And Loved," which should ensure that they never ask me again.

It's really, really tempting.

Fuddle have I missed that you're moving to your new wee house tomorrow? So hope so! Hope you love it as much as I love my wee home here :-) It has become a real haven for me!
