    I got married in '76.
I started being fun again in '92.
As to whether or not I am still fun, I couldn't possibly comment.

Apparently the weather is being kind to you on moving day, Fuddle. I do hope the forecast isn't lying.

    No snow mcculloch :D

I have keys. I have been in. I have wandered. I have had a cuppa in my new older neighbour's house. I have 'returned to sender' the mountain of mail from the floor. I have inserted the new prepayment keys into the utilities and topped up until I can get credit meters in. I have smiled. I have planned.

I am now home in the rental about to pick up youngest DD. Tomorrow the work begins. We plan to be living there by the end of next week :D

Oh and I married 2006. I'm more fun now than I was then!

Fuddle make sure you check the meter has been registered before you switch. If it is possible contact the authority where it is registered. I have not been able to find out.

I am caught up in it all over again. I arranged to switch. They got two different meter numbers from my present supplier and the authority so they cancelled my switch without telling me. Spent three hours on the phone yesterday to the company I am switching to. They still have not sorted things out am waiting for a call now. This happens every time.

monna, meanmarie is right. Being an after dinner speaker is extremely lucrative. The most popular make several million per speech.

If you do well you could afford to give DS and DiL the house and pay cash for your wildest dreams.

Mmmm. If I was dire enough do you think they would pay me NOT speak. There are only so many times that one can rabbit on about nothing in particular before the audience rumbles that you don't know what you are doing.

I won't rely on several million per speech, my bag so far is a bunch of flowers, (hastily grabbed from the vase on the table,) a box of liquorice all sorts and last night it was a packet of chocolate digestives. Hardly the basis of a Property Empire.
