Monnagran We went to IOW last year for 10 days in our campervan and absolutely loved it. Ryde and Ventnor I specialy enjoyed. We stayed at a fantastic campsite called Windmill Campersite near Carisbrooke which was so much fun and really quirky (the showershack was brilliant). Such a welcoming place. Lovely people.

Sorry softstuff I forgot the job interview good luck with it.

DS has got himself some job experience he is working 8 weeks at the orange DIY. Yesterday was his first day so today he is very stiff and in pain as he spent the afternoon lifting things in the gardening department. Big bags of grit, compost and bark. He is on late shift today so we had our main meal at lunch time. I have a small amount of cooked chicken I need to use up for tea. Don't know what to make.

Happy birthday and anniversary, softstuff. DD was playing the Seekers in the car the other day and I thought of you when they sang 'I am Australian'. We went to see them when they were over here last year and really enjoyed the evening. I don't think they will be back as Judith Durham hadn't been well and didn't look like she would want to travel as far again.

Fuddle, Gibside is smashing, isn't it? It's a place close to my heart.

Thanks all, and such a lot of cake! I don't think I know that song MrsCD. I always feel more like the Monty Python sketch with the Bruces.

Congrats to your DS NurseMaggie, hope that he gets benefit from the experience.

Off to use some free vouchers I got emailed today for a motley assortment of goodies.
