Hi Guys, I ' m afraid this parts finder webite is stiil up and running and fraudulently taking customers money without supplying the parts. I have recently been caught for £10 as well, having found a difficult to locate part for my car and feeling £10 was worth the 'bank transfer' risk!
Unfortunately in this instance it has not paid off and I have experienced the same ' Due to a technical issue at our warehouse etc etc ....'
To be honest it is my fault for using this practice of bank transfer in the first place (Once bitten, twice shy) but it beggers belief that in the day and age of the internet, these sites are not shut down very quickly? It has obviously been going on for a few months and continues to do so? Can this be reported to Google and will they do anything about it to stop others getting scammed?0 -
This is where this business is registered:
http://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-history/114-melbourne-road/london/e6-2rx/31772895
Appears to have one director.

Try a LBA (letter before action) to both the addresses listed above.0 -
Have reported the site on Web Of Truth.

Hopefully, more people will be aware of his activities and keep well clear.0 -
Can't believe I fell for this scam as well. I too have been looking for a part for my car for ages and this Andy Watkins emailed me, as with all you others, after just a few days to say my part was in stock but he was having trouble with his card machine. He asked me for a bank transfer of £25, and I like an idiot did this. It was really because I have been so busy with work that I didn't check all the details. I only had a few minutes, but oh how I wish I hadn't done this in such a rush. £25 is such a lot to me as I am only on a minimum wage job.0

Same as the above: £40 paid 20/02/2015
I began taking action: contacting the banks & Action Fraud in March.
Today I've spoken with my bank (first direct) and 'Andy Watkins's' bank (Nat West)
I've tried to speak to Action Fraud but they're 'busy'.
Like all the people here I'd like my money back but I'm more concerned that this person is stopped.
After many years of buying things on the internet this is my first bad experience.
Neither 'first direct', nor Nat West will give me any details because of 'data protection' rules but I think that he may not be using his old account: 62-30-53 02240954. However, If he is still using it then Nat West must surely be guilty of some offence for allowing this man to continue to take money under false pretences. The site "any-parts-finder.co.uk" seems to have disappeared.
I will continue to try to get more information from 'Action Fraud'0 -
I phoned Nat West about this account in March. If your money was put into the same account ( see my entry above? ) after Nat West had been made aware of the link with fraudulent activity I would hope that you and other people here would have a reasonable cause to demand repayment.0

I've had the same problem0

I have also fell victim to this company and like everyone else on her I feel very stupid. I have lost £30. for some Mercedes mudflaps that are as rare as hens teeth. I read about the Nat west account that was being used with interest as this was not the account I was asked to use, A Simon Walker asked me to put my money in this one [FONT=verdana, geneva]Account number :08145116
[FONT=verdana, geneva]Sort code : 62-31-31
[FONT=verdana, geneva]Account Name: Any Parts Finder
I wish I had come here first but heh ho lesson learnt the hard way. I hope everyone of us gets our money returned......although I very much doubt it

I have reported it to fraud team of my bank, we must all do the same to get this shitster!0
