I'm a newbie and just read the advice about parking 'fines' unfortunately too late as already contacted to company to question them.
Parkingeye sent me a charge for "overstaying" in a shopping car park - they are asking for the ticket as proof but it as it was back in December I don't have it. I emailed an "appeal" and also found a contact number for them and called them to ask what I could do because I didn't want them to charge me the £80 for not paying within 14 days. I even offered to pay first if I had to, so they wouldn't pu the charge up, then for them to dispute the ticket but the young Man I spoke to said I should just email first and wait for a reply

    Any advice would be great

  • Ok thanks for that DoaM, did you see the " Newbie alert"?

"Please be nice to all MoneySavers : There's no such thing as a stupid question and, even if you disagree, courtesy helps.
Please be sensitive : This may be a web forum, but you're still talking to other human beings."

don't get me wrong, I ve been trying to start a new post but it's not that easy on here, for someone who is new to the site.

Even if you sent a link to starting a new thread that might be helpful?

Sorry to everyone else for posting oh this thread if it was the wrong place.

Be nice to Newbies, but Newbies also need to be nice back.

No such thing as a stupid question. Wait until you have read a few more posts. You will soon realise that is wrong in so many ways.

It looks even better if you let it stretch rather than have a narrow block down the middle. ;)
