Oh dear I'm not getting anything done. Kids have had sandwiches for Sunday lunch and the place is a tip. There are paints and paintings all over the dining room, cars and board games and paper all over the LR, even my bed seems to be covered in toys.
On the plus side we've popped up to town, bought much needed loo roll, craft supplies, fabric conditioner and a new bike pump. The kiddies have made clown hats, I've sorted DS Cape to suit DD for world book day and I've sorted DD bike. It was the pump adaptor that was split <facepalm> so our new track pump took 2 plunges and the tyre was solid, and has remained so. Hooray, except its pee-ing down here so she can't really play out on it. But rather pleased anyway!
DD wants to play a game so I'll give her half an hour then I really must move, lol. Might put the fire on too. All this damp air making me feel chilly.
Tonight I think I'll make an effort to do the upstairs bathrooms while the littlies have a dunk in the bath.
Might change DD bed too. Tried DS without pull-ups again but despite me lifting him when I go to bed he can't seem to get past 3am. So we've agreed to leave it for a while. DD has been dry overnight for the last week, so I'm getting them into pjs separately and not really mentioning to him that she's not wearing them. We'll get there eventually!Bossymoo

Done loads in the garden. Just having a cuppa and then I want to move some washing about.
Just had to relight the aga as it is gusty here and it had blown out again, this does not bode well for roast chicken. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Washing all in and it is now pouring with rain. Still most has dried and I did what I needed to in the back garden so I made the most of it at least.
Aga is still too cold to cook on. dinner will be late! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all
Been to parents for Sunday lunch then watched the kids play footie. Very very cold and windy so we have lit the fire and are all trying to get thawed out.
Need to ring the heating engineer in the morning and I am hoping they can come soon, its not been too bad this weekend but its supposed to be very cold this week.
Just hoping this week is a little calmer than last week, feeling quite positive at the moment! I will have to ask for the day off on Thursday as Mum has a hospital appointment.0 -
Reset the timer on mils heating so hoping that will not cause her any more problems
Done quite a lot of decluttering and paperwork sorting this afternoon.
Windy and rainy here, hope everyone is ok.SPC~12 ot 124

oh dear, another poor show from me this week. I have been decluttering though! Utility room today - looks marvellous!
Spent today at the B'ham Royal ballet with middle sized one who was selected from school to audition for their dance track programme. We'll find out if he's got through in a fortnight, but he had a great day.
Will try to do better next week on the housework front. I have been properly shattered and run ragged the past week and to be honest I might be being optimistic for next week as dh is away workingoh well fingers crossed - see you on next weeks thread

Oh dear. I didn't do the bathrooms. On the plus sides my nails look pretty
Must try harder. My get up and go seems to have got up and gone.
DD talking in her sleep so will go settle her then dry my hair.
Night folks.
