I've decluttered OH to the station to watch some footie match or other, and turned out a couple of shelves in a cupboard so I'm feeling rather proud of myself. It's lovely and sunny here and I've got three more massive fleeces to wash but the forecast is merde, so that won't be today. My blackbirds were very perky this morning and OH thinks he may have seen a female thrush. That would be fab.Better is good enough.0

Taa Daa!
have cleaned hall, stairs, landing, dining room and living room.
Not much gibble to rehome (see mantra;)) so not too onerous.
I have also brought in washing (dried already - dry and breezy - excellent combination) though there is a little still left on the line. I have also cleaned the vacuum filters and emptied it and cleaned the beater bar! One filter (the washable one) is swinging from the line.
Am still reeling from the shock of my colleague who confessed she NEVER pegs out laundry (and she has a garden); has no washing line or TD and 'dries it in the house' - all year round.
Anyway, house is done, it's tidy and I feel very wooty!

Thanks Jazee and Piggers. They have just turned 4 months, was going to get them done bang on 6 months but might be earlier now! They are now banned from all bedrooms!
Done a bit in the back garden, just having a snack lunch and then I'll go and do a bit more.
DS1 is in a foul mood, just went to check in for flights on Tuesday and his GFs passport expires today. He has always laughed that she is less organised than him, it doesn't seem funny right now. Doubt she'll be able to get it sorted as she is not a UK national. Feel very sorry for him as this is to celebrate his 21st.
So windy here that the washing is being blown up and down the line, hoping it is still drying in the process. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Thanks Elastic, will give that a try. Sounds delicious.
I have sorted half a cupboard of doom, decluttered some items and created enough space for shoe storage. Will tackle the rest of the cupboards another day. So I'm now into properly cleaning the hall ready for new installation tomorrow. The curtains are currently in the machine, absolutely minging, been up almost four years and not looked at closely obviously since then. This proper flying lark is exhausting though. Normally I make do with a quick flick of the duster, but people are going to see, so I've got my glasses on and am doing a proper job!Spend less now, work less later.0
