  • Just popping in to tell you that I have sewn the button on the work trousers that have been draped over my bedroom chair for about a month. It took me all of 10 minutes and I feel ridiculously pleased.

Why do I always put these jobs off?

Will be out quite a bit tomorrow but will try and make sure everything is tidy for the new week.

    Evening.

Welcome back returning flyladies and hugs mummyroys I hope it's something harmless xx

Well I have done very little today except play with the kiddies and cuddle the foster baby. He got a bit yappy at one point lol but it was a tired squawk so I told him to pipe down and he just nuzzled his face into my arm and went to sleep. Aww. Not. Broody. At. All. :) <I want to keep him>

    Irrelevant rant alert:
I was naughty this week and didn't tell my mum about the funeral (my dads sister) because she makes some very odd decisions at times and I was worried she would find out where it was. My dad has been remarried for 10yrs and she's not in touch with any of his family (and they weren't close before the divorce either) so there was no reason for her to go. But true to form, when she found out, she just wanted to know if anyone was asking about her! "Err no, funnily enough they were more concerned with my cousins who have just lost their mum" Gah. #doesnttheworldrevolvearoundme
    /rant ;)

Actually, since the littlies went to bed I've written down what's in the freezer as its annoying me, and tidied the kitchen. I've tried to sort DD flat tyre I'm now thinking it's the pump and the blimmin adaptor has split. Might get up to wilco tomorrow and see if they've any bike stuff. We can visit home bargains too :)

Must also do some laundry. And sort DD book day costume. She wants to be super girl so I'm going to take the initial off the cape I made for DS and put an S on it, and one on her blue tshirt too. She has blue leggings already and I have a red tutu on its way to us from the bay of E so she'll be made up.

Also want to make a paper clown hat and bow tie with DS - his reading book was instructions on making a clown costume so we said we'd follow them and he can take it for his teacher :D

Need a moan but feel free to ignore I just got no where else I can do it ATM.

My mum just rang me to say she found a lump in her breast...!!!!!! she having a rough enough time with my grandad dying in December of lung cancer and my grandma has practically lived with her since as not coping well now this argh

    (((((hugs))))

Ive had a couple of lumps removed and tested for cancer (but not on my breasts though). Both times they turned out to be just harmless cysts.

    [STRIKE]clean bathroom[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]clean kitchen[/STRIKE]

That's how far I got. I have also nipped to town for a Mother's Day card and a card for b-i-l who has a birthday in March as I know that I am busy next weekend. And a battery for my watch.

I picked up some cabbage leaves in the market for Benny - and some sprouts and a carrot, dropped under a stall.

managed to get duvetcover ironed and back on bed.

Valli - I now have visions of you crawling on your hands and knees underneath the market stalls for titbits!

Mummyroys - hugs - thinking of you and your mum.

I have a load of chicken fillets to cook in various forms today - I haven't decided what I'm doing with them yet. Next job though is to sort the washing out and hoover the downstairs I think.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Just to clarify - they had packed away and gone. I would have had a look in their little skip but someone was already going through that:rotfl: When I get there in time (and shop there) I ask them if they have any cauli offcuts for the rabbit!

I have washing on the line - 3 loads - it's breezy and sunny so should dry. Need to get my breakfast and do the LR and DR and crack on with some work.

Morning all. Gym done, WUDUPA, beef in slow cooker, indoor plants watered. Just having a cuppa then will walk the dogs before coming back and tacking the cupboards of doom.
