yay for top cash back pennies, I have looked into mine and I have confirmed but not payable, but I do have an update on a claim I made from a switch to nationwiddle so hopefully that will pay out and not find an excuse not too...

i am going to have to get my boxing gloves on for monday when I get back on the phone to Npoweruseless as they still haven't paid out my credit on my account... its my money and I want it back....

Bah, I have come to bed after putting the beef shoulder in the slow cooker to do its thing overnight ready for tomorrows lunch, I am finally getting some space back in my freezer although I have seemed to have cracked my lower drawer and now I can't open it unless I get on the floor on my knees which is not possible at the moment... I wonder if you can get replacement drawers.....

OH my I'm sounding like my mum, replacing a freezer drawer.....

Well its my favourite day of the week its roasti time, I decided a few months ago that I was spending far too much money in my local seafront restaurant as it was easier to go there rather then cook, especially just for one, and it gave me a change of scenery, but it then dawned on me when I started to use YNAB that I was spending over £50 a week in there, as meals were over £10 a time.

Hence my decision to just go there for Sunday roast as its far more cost effective to have that cooked for me then to try and do it for one, and also the Sunday papers are there for a read while I'm there too...

So i have just got back from the harbour, its a lovely warmish day, but this means living by the coast that the world and its wife comes to the seaside so its a little packed....

I am enjoying the last few hours of my weekend before I have to go back to work after 10 days off over easter, how will i feel when I have to put the alarm back on later on...

Im still in amazement that it is nearly the middle of April where has the year gone already seems like yesterday it was xmas....

hope everyone is feeling happy in this sunshine, lets hope its here to stay for a little longer ....

today has been a lazy day apart from cooking my roast this morning, I have just finished my housework and that has ended with me changing my bedding, I chore that takes so long to do but feels so good when its done, what I don't like is how it makes you hot and bothered and it takes an age.....

I do have a little addiction to duvet covers and sets, though I sold some on fleabay, unopened of course.... now sitting with a cuppa and easy watching on the TV, reading some diaries, wishing time to slow down as tomorrow is Monday and its back to work....

Glad you've had a nice day - lol at the bedding obsession. I bought two new sets and they are excellent quality. Chucked out the two old ones I had. I literally change from one to the other each week or if it is a really sunny day the same ones go back on as I love that super fresh feeling :D

Enjoy your evening. My cake is almost cool enough. So impatient.

    xx

P.S £50 a week on restaurant food isn't that bad but yikes it adds up eh! xx

Okay so it's a new week and a new month for me so to thought I'll set myself some goals for this week.

    1. Ring the doctors to make a pain medication review (just not getting the pain under control)
    2. Ring hospital transport to book for my follow up appointments to check my hip.
    3. Check when my interest free period ends on my old student account
    4. Post application form for new ISA account
    5. Keep looking for little presents for my dads 60th
    6. Keep an eye on my eBay items to see if they are selling
    7. Check the food stores and work out if I can avoid food shopping.

Think that's managable one task a day....

Boooo his it's back to work, better get a wiggle on...

well what a horrible day today was...

been a funny one, my body always knows when the weather is due to change be that a storm or change of atmospheric pressures, My bones are aching lots today, a cold has materialised over the working day, think its the curse of going back to work after the easter break.... I have managed to get one of my tasks done day, suppose thats a bonus..

Today my cold has got worse, I couldnt wait to get into my prewarmed bed, yay for electric blankets, I have potted today £10 in coins, which has been a good day for pottage, but I am on the bones of my bank account now till pay day....

What a change a day makes with the weather is barmy, sea mist took over the south coast yesterday and now its BBQ weather out there, the only downside of lovely weather is...

everyone comes to town and to the beach, restaurants etc and there is no parking for the locals.
my flat very conservative with heat which is great when its cold outside as I don't have to use heating, in fact think I have put my CH on three times in five years as everyones elses heats my flat, great thanks, but what I don't realise is the reverse of such a heat trap is that when its warm outside it turns my flat into a furnace, I have returned from work to a lovely warm house, which normally would be a pain but as I'm harbouring this cold, its been great for the bones....

anyways can't look at the screen much tonight as its hurting my eyes, hot bath and some RnR is required... **I blame aircraft air-conditioning, for sharing round bugs**

Aww, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon.

I have to know, what did you get for 3 or 4p? /nosy

Have you heard of chillows? I have one of these I think, it's about 2 years old and I just lay it on my bed just prior to wanting to sleep and it's cool enough for long enough for me to sleep on hot nights. Also works for just sitting on it :)

    Thanks Peaty,

Its amazing how quickly things can change, I am now dosed up on painkillers hopefully they will help to ease the fog in my head... one advantage for apple roducts is the facility to dim the brightness on the screen so helps me when things hurt my eyes....

Not great that the work computers don't have the same facility, thats if I make it to work, going by the rate this cold cold is moving ill be unable to move by tomorrow :-(, the other painful bit other then the eyes hurting is the sneezing which seems to aggravate my hip and make it hurt lots and click... I'm scared the next one will dislocate it....
    yay for
    *Electric blankets
    *Basalm tissues
    *vasseline

    nay for
    *Sneezes
    *Itchy eyes
    *Foggy head
    *Foggy ears
    *All round errghness...
