PUpdate on Nopower, I rang them three times today twice I got hung up before I even got connected the third time that was it whoever answers the phone was getting mouthful hopefully I get my refund it's now £205 its my third refund in six months why should they keep my money and interest rather than me getting interest on it specially when I'm doing all these challenges,

I'm lying here on another hard bed, nobody snoring this Thursday though, I'm not sure I'll get any sleep the transport arrives at 4am and I'm scared of sleeping through alarms I've set three eek,

Finally back after a six hour delay back from Majorca, flipping air space strike, No potting as yet but once I change back my euros Im sure ill have some to pot...

Its been a good holiday but I'm glad to get back to my own bed...

till the next holiday hopefully bought with my potted funds :-)

Lol Lilty the blanket was on as soon as I got into it, after the first load of washing was doing its thing....

I have managed to pot over £100 from the exchange of my euros, So I have distributed it into my pots some in my £1 pot some in my £2 pot, some in my xmas fund and some into my virtual Pot.. Im loving the numbers going up but Im not loving the email I received today telling me that my 0% overdraft on my student account is due to expire next month boooo oho

I wil try to save some more so I can pay it all off when the time comes.

Now question....

Whoop Whoop, spent £5 (what was in my paypal account so not really spending any money from my accounts) and SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR came 5th and won me £30 thats a quick £25 up :-)

Well done on the win! Him has put £5 into a betting site to do a accumulator bets on our favourite obsession.. UFC. £1 a time, and the last one he bet on 7 fights and won back £16.90 all winners picked correctly and it included two dodgy judges decisions so he was very happy with the judges for once :rotfl:

I don't like betting at all. It really stresses me out. My dad used to force me to do a 50p each way bet on a horse when I was a kid and I hated waiting and watching. The Grand National is my least favourite horse race as well... so many horses seem to die

I think if you enjoy it, have the money spare and are not paying interest on debts elsewhere then it is fine. If it is a dead cert like the matched betting.. also fine.

Well yes I don't agree with the amount of deaths, I don't bet on anything else like football, tennis etc, but I do put a few pounds on the lottery each week with work, and I do partake in a few scratchies from time to time, I only bet once at year on the GN, but am happy to take it or leave it....

I also think, you are right with savings VS debts, I am just enjoying my weekend before i try to make my YNAB balance after my holiday....

Good luck on the balancing. Apart from a lost £7.98 which I will have to adjust away, I have the perfect score. And I just logged onto top cash back to get the name of a store for Ali-OK and saw I had £46.78 payable :T so thats been added to my pot!

I've got cough sweets and nik naks, no twiglets xx
