My weekend starts now -
it just a waiting game now for 00:00 when my wages goes in so I can have a fiddle with YNAB, such a geek, but its all going well as this months pay is already covering Aprils bills so I am a month ahead of myself....
I have just recounted my £2 coins as my signature balance did not match what YNAB said I should have and luckily it was the terramundi that has the hole in it, so after a few shakes and finger prodding I got them all out and counted and then repotted, such a satisfying sound to hear them drop back into the pot....
My working week is now over, I get a lie in tomorrow yay, and then its a chill day till brownies where we are going for a visit around our local TesC&s to find out how the food goes from farm to fork, should be a good few hours, then I have a early doors start on saturday morning as I am going to LegoLand with my sister and two nieces, my aunt and my young cousins so should be a good day apart from the drive but seeing family will make it all worth while.. then sunday brings sunday roast...the best food of the week.....

** Chink *** Chink, Westie adds another £2 to her savings pot, from the car park change at LegoLand today, I'm surprised I managed to save anything today, why are these park so blinking expensive to get any food in, the coffee was nearly £3 each but had to be done in this weather while waiting for the small ones to finish on their rides, great day out for any MSErs that have a merlin Annual Pass and they live fairly near to Windsor...

It's Friday morning usually still asleep but I have come to Bournemouth as I booked a spa weekend for a friends Xmas present so I'm currently lying on a very hard mattress in a lovely hotel situated on a roundabout near the Bournemouth beach cliffs, which means I have listened to traffic all night, the seagull is having a chat on the roof with all his mates from down the coast it sounds, my friend is snoring her head off next to me, just waiting for the joy of breakfast till we venture into the pool again and maybe a walk down the promenade for a packet of chips, we had the cream tea and scones when we arrived yesterday after a three hour delay on the M27 after a fatality on the other carriageway which caused a humungous tailback, fortunately we were on the "right" side but our traffic was stopped to ease the congestion behind the accident to let some traffic turn round, apparently it happened at 9am and I was stuck in it at 1pm and the tailbacks were still present at 9pm...
I always say its not your driving you need to worry about its those around you, RIP to that poor soul who lost their life,
Hopefully will have something to pot when I actually spend some money, as so far it's been inclusive on the voucher purchased from Group0N...

It was a good couple of days away, I got back yesterday afternoon, so I still have the weekend to do absolutely nothing lol...
Sorry to hear on your diary that terrible twos are hit your home with vengeance, I did have to laugh as it reminded me of when my dad used to tell me off and send me to my room (granted I was about 7) and I just used to play on my computer with no care in the world then one day I came home from school to find my room had been cleared of everything and just had my bed!!! no books, no computer, no paper, nothing to occupy me, I suppose I had nothing to do but think about what I had done, although I wasn't best pleased....
Keep going you will win the battle, and 2 1/2 year old can't rule the house as that is a slippery slope to slide on...

Yipppe so the weekend,
Got back from my spa weekend (overnighter) and spending a few hours catching up on diaries, no poting of coins for me yet, that could be because of the battering my CC got while in the town centre, we passed a humongous primarni and I had to go in and have a look, now due to the fact I am flying away for some easter sun soon I thought I may get some new clothes, but I have also lost a few stones from my pocket, so a lot of my holiday clothes in my holiday clothes drawer (Im hoping others have this and its not just me) would now be too big, not sure what is even in the drawer as I have a very bad habit of buying cheap new holiday clothes then leaving them all there when I go on holiday and not bringing them back.
Soooo.....
Although I went in for the only purpose of getting a smaller pair of linen shorts and a few trousers I came out with two massive brown bags, full of new tshirts, vests, shorts, skirts, dresses, socks, Pjs, summer hat, beach bag...
so maybe I will have to kerb my habit of leaving the clothes on holiday, I suppose one saving grace was that I felt a lot better coming out with size 10 and not my normal size 14, so will have great pleasure in one day emptying all my drawers of clothes that can be taken to the charity shops, but that requires effort I don't have just yet.. Not looking forward to explaining my spending to YNAB though
so no coins saved this year only a hot credit card screaming out due to the pain of random swipes think I may have to wait for my tax credits to be paid, I'm hoping it will be early due to easter weekend....
This time next week I will be sat on a sun lounger in the sun,

Oh wow it looks amazing in there, must have cost an absolute bomb.
I am impressed with the overshop! I'm guessing that the fashion at the moment is your styleI hope you get rid of all your bigger clothes now, no point in keeping it with your new slim body.

lol, I just detest spending money on clothes, So I tend to buy some good fitting jeans then team them with T- Shirts, I bought some new tops from super dry and a warmer coat from them and I have "Matured" from hoodies and only knitted jumpers and knitwear in general, so my fashion maybe not up with the rest of the world but I'm glad i have moved on from the 90s leg wamers and hula hula skirts lol....
oh and not forgetting my purchse from Joe Browns last week, Im slowly replacing my wardrobe due to the slinky body but also maturing my fashion sense as I go, mmmm little late to the fashion party...
Spa was actually a bargain steal - It was a groupon voucher so cost my £59 for two people, when we got there someone else was checking in and the standard room we had booked for £60 a night, when we got to the room we checked the cost of the breakfast and the cream tea which was included in the voucher and that was £12 pp inclusive, then when we decided to check out the spa we found out the cost of the spa access was £10 a day so we saved!! would have cost £104 for two of us....

Wow that really was a bargain. The pool looks lovely. I would have spent my entire time in the sauna :rotfl:
Sometimes we just need to buy clothes hun. I can't remember the last time I bought more than one top at a time months apart. I was living in rags and 10 year old pairs of jeans. And especially if you have slimmed down (well done you!!) then you can't have much at the moment!!
Yes it is a slippery slope I am not even contemplating, letting Jellytot rule the roost. I will winI am winning so far
happy lefties day fellow lefty!!
