Glad to hear you are winning with Jelly,
It was a good night and in sure next week when I'm sitting on the aeroplane in my new tshirt and linen trousers I won't care how much I spent, I suppose the saving grace for my holiday money (not saved up as was an impulse purchase) will be covered by tax credits that get paid early due to BH Monday yippee just in time for holibobs...

It's Monday morning boo, I am sitting in a wetherspoons stealing free wifi while drinking a filter coffee for 85p bargain and when I get it get told its refillable double bargain, so I found myself a comfy seat near the window to check in here, I have 50 mins till work as I endedup being a taxi this morning for a friend whose child had to be at a duke of Edinburgh event by ten, and yes the meeting point is in the middle of nowhere to the fact was given grid references to find the car park..
Ah well, early doors one day isn't bad, only four days till holiday, no coins potted, but did get a £2 coin from the self service machine at the post office (who knew)
Happy not manic Monday all

Morning sunshine.
Wetherspoons and refillable coffee sounds wonderful. My morning has thus far seen me walk about 5 miles, one mile of which was trying to find a joint of lamb I had dropped on the way back from the supermarket. £6 of lamb under a bus, spotted it right outside the supermarket splattered to bits in the road. Almost cried.
DofE has always been an odd oneglad my school stopped doing it before I *had* to sign up to be honest. I was an outdoorsy kid, but compasses? Not really my thing!

Sounds like your day was good, Mine wasn't too good, started with me waking up at 7am falling back to sleep till 10 and snoozing my alarm a million times before rushing to leave for work, while on the drive decided to call Npowusless and I finally got through 10mins later to be put on hold and then hung up on, the only good thing about the drive was I saw a Eddie on my way, living down south you don't see many of them and I do get excited when I see one.
I then decided to call back Npoweruseless and It took them over 25mins to answer this time and again I was cut off, I then decided to call one more time as the last advisor told me before I was cut off that a refund was on its way and has been applied to my account, I then decided to log into my online account to find they are a big fat pair of liars and Im still in credit even more now by DD for April was applied this morning....
RAH - its my money that they have and I asked for it back beginning of march, I want to earn interest on it, not Npoweruselessss..
anyway got forbid the poor sole who answers the phone tmrw, only saving grace is that I found a inclusive number that comes out of my phone useage so hasn't cost me for the hour I have spent on the phone today and no further on then I was yesterday.....
Rant over...
on potting news I have potted £10 in £1 from a scratchcard win and £2 from change when I bought a bottle of water before work...
hope all is okay in the world of MSE

Hooray for the phone number but less so for Power. I am confused because I left them a couple of months ago after they sent me back £170+ credit right before Winter and then put my payment plan up by £19 a month to cover my 'overuse'
Yay for scratch card win. I never buy them as I always think it's wasting £1not when you win though eh!

Indeed lilty indeed, I hope I get some movement from power tomorrow, gives me something to do while waiting at the airport I suppose, be good to get the credit back so I can put it against any holiday spending lol...
thought you were going to bed missie, its the pull of MSE too strong, or is it because you are still in love with Mr Macbook :-)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. I hate the thought of power companies having my money, so after being messed about with payments up, payments down and still not having enough money to cover the bill in the winter, I save more than we need monthly now and then I get the interest on it!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
