    I sorry my fellow followers...

    bad news I'm afraid :-(

Looks like Westie is not fixed and not sure if it will ever happen...

first of all the driver turns up two hours before my appointment time, I think they tell everyone 2 hours regardless of where the live, but after the hassle with Mr I cant go faster then 10 MPH last week I decided to change my appointment time back an hour, so when they picked me up two hours before we will actually be three hours... Clever right!!!

so we actually got stuck on not only the M25 but also going through the middle of London got a good view of Harrods on the way past going down regents street in a car was fun....

so we get to the hospital bang on time, as I had changed the time!!! was seen straight away which was great but was only in the room less then 10 mins.

so guess what I had a two hour wait to be picked back up to come home!!!!!!

so the nerve man said that the operation hasn't worked from January but there is still a slim bit of hope that my nerves will continue to repair and my pain will ease but he would have thought I would have seen some progress,

If I'm honest the pain has got worse then before the operation but it needed to be done as I couldnt wear any clothes on my bottom half and the duvet caused me issues, now its sporadic I have a couple of days when my nerves are having a right party and causing me a lot of pain and discomfort then I have days when I cant feel anything at all like I have been frozen....

So the next thing is to give the nerves a few more months to see what they do then he will see me again in three months then we will discuss what happens ongoing but at the moment I just want the pain to go!! its demoralising and causing me some little mental health issues as it really getting me down and affecting my social life, waking day and work!!!

I went to the doctors last Friday and was given some more painkillers that are more focused to nerve pain and some anaesthetic patches to see if that will dull the nerve pain when I am at work!!

not a happy westie at the mo....

I just want my body to be like everyone else without having to live in daily pain and shove painkillers down my throat just to exist.....

*Westie wishes she could pop the cork on a bottle*....

    Oh sweetie :(

That is not good news at all. I am so sorry. You're too young to live with this 'can't be fixed so deal with it' rubbish, as am I.

    Big hugs! x

I have just been paid from Quidco - £20 so that should keep me going till pay day - had to pay off a chunk of my credit card that was coming to the end of a balance transfer offer...

So sorry to hear about this ongoing pain Westie. I had a lot of back/sciatic nerve pain over a few years, it has now improved no end but it gives me a bit of idea of what you're going through. x

ah my little birdie friend, well done on making it to 4:08 I ended up watching C5,

due to my late night non existent sleep, i woke up by the sound of the postman delivering me some spam!! lol, I then went to the optical shop as i got a phone call to say my contact lens are ready to be fitted, (its my first time and its a trial) I get there to be told they are very sorry but only one lens has come in and that i will have to wait for the other one to arrive,

**Well yes having just one eye is no use to me... so I have come back home to cook lunch to try and blow this cold out of my body with some chilli chicken and roasted veg..

I am now sitting on here waiting for the oven to do its thing watching a program about bank account fraud very interesting given my job...

time to chill till brownies at 6pm...

Just got back from London, not sure if I told you but I had been allocated two tickets to see the recording of piers morgans life stories in the ITV STUDIOS, these tickets were allocated to me around three weeks ago and when I got the email it suggested that if you have any mobility issues to call them and let them know, so i did just that and was told thanks for the information and my needs will be accommodated for when I arrive.

So on Friday I got a email saying that the recording time had been changed from 4pm to 3pm thats okay as my train ticket was a day ticket so planned my train to get to south bank for 3pm as the tickets said to arrive from 3pm...

I get there to be greated by a member of the 'queue' team to be told that they had filled the studio and therefore there was no more spaces and we were to be given priority passes for the next series of the program... Now I know that the ticket did not guarantee me entry but I wasnt expected to be send away at 3:02, I did query this with the lady managing the queue she was getting a tirade of abuse as there must have been about 100 people who had been turned away...

They do say on the ticket that they do send out allocations that exceed the number of seats in the studio as they want to have a full studio for the TV screens but I do feel that they had over subscribed the show and there were a lot of annoyed people who had like myself traveled for the show.

I did ask if it was 3:03 and we were too late how long had the people been in the queue to be told that people start queuing from 9am but there is no mention of this on the ticket, its just says arrive by 3pm as I'm assuming recording has to be on time, and needs to have the audience seated...

I must say I wasnt best happy being turned away when I thought I had a chance of getting in if I was one of the few to arrive dead on 3pm.. I was wrong, so I suppose I have told I will get a priority ticket for the next series ( I won't hold my breath) so I decided to have a mooch around southbank as I was already there.

It has been a good day weather wise so I spent about two hours watching the hub bub of the southbank then caught a train back home, where I am now sitting relaxing with a cup of coffee and catching up on here...

I have unloaded the washing machine and hung up to dry clothes which include my uniform for tomorrow, back to working a full week again...

    roll on the next BH...

hope is all is well with all

    :0)
