was okay was annoying as I had to wait and I was only in there for 15mins...

back Tuesday to see the nerve man, nothing has helped since he went in my hip in January apart from the pain is getting worse but I am going to the doctors to review painkillers as I think they need adapting due to my change in type of pain...

fingers crossed...

you have me googling and toying with fitbit now... atm I use a weight-loss app, and GPS tracker when I go geocaching and when log my walks when I have enough data free on my phone which is rare as this app I use uses a lot of data when you are walking....

they all look so nice, I like the idea of the sleep log as I don't sleep too well so would be good to see if I can change that over a time period and link it to food and weight-loss, I just don't know, there are so many choices and colours.....

well I have done it and bought one, I used a discount code from Quidco, and 10% cashback and then got £5, worth of advantage points - brought it down to £69.95,

You've been having a dramatic couple of days Westie, what with helping that lady outside Wilko's and then the unwashed driver who made you late!!!!!:mad:

Last December I was meeting a friend to go to a concert, and before I got to our meeting place I fell over and felt really shaken up - a lovely lady went and got me a cup of tea from Subway and sat with me until I felt able to carry on (no harm had been done, I'd just ended up with a shoe in the road and scuffed knees!!!) I was so grateful to that lady for helping me, as I was in a bit of shock for a few minutes.

I would have been really stressed out by that slow driver incident, I think you dealt with it really well! Hope you get someone else on Tuesday:o

I REALLY hope so as it was frustrating when I looked over at his speedo to see he was doing 40mph.... really annoying, it seemed like he was on another planet or just didnt want to drive any faster then 50 even on the M25....

My face will say it all when the doorbell goes on tuesday but till then Ill enjoy the BH weekend, just one more day at work to get through first, then my five day weekend ;-)

So how was today...

HORRIFIC

first of all I woke up put my glasses on and they were all wonky....

I have managed to break a little spindle that holds the lens onto the nose rim... great so will they last the day...

So decided to pop into an well know optical shop to see if they can be fixed...

yes Westie, yes we can fix them for you, but dont you know that you are overdue a eye test by about four years, CRIKEY!!!

so I got goose walked into making a eye test appointment for tomorrow, while I was waiting for the glasses man to see if they can be fixed, was told that they can be fixed within the hour!!!!

erm i had to be at work 30mins later so the only option I had was to drive with my wonky glasses to work and then go to another optical shop and try them, was then told to bring them in after work as they are open later then work is so, okay I just have to be careful all day not to knock them, what do I want to do all day is itch my nose which means touching my glasses.... annoying..

I then tried to get out of work on time, and unfortunately this wasn't possible as Me, Miss Westie tills didnt balance by a crazy amount, cue panic stations and lots of counting and recounting of notes...


I get to the optical shop and they said to bring the glasses in tomorrow to which I said Im back in the area till wednesday and I'm not convinced they will hold out till then.... little flutter of the eyes and leaning on my crutches at bit worked and the man saw pity and managed to glue them together temporality, I will see if I like any of the frames when I go back to the optical shop tomorrow for my eye test but it was a small branch so they dont have a massive range so Im not hopeful but my goggles are now looking a lot less crooked and I am less worried....

so on my way back from work I get stuck in a traffic jam because some donut has driven into the back of a bus... how he didnt see it stopping I dont know, (little bit of me hopes it was an negligence and not a medical incident)

I am now back at home to find that my fridge door was open must have been when I left in a rush to get to the optical shop....

YAY for BH weekend time to relax and hope that my till error is found....

Looking forward to balancing YNAB on the end of the month and when the bills all come out tomorrow....

So today started the one by the postman in a divided to have breakfast before I came out £125 lighter why are glasses so blinking expensive, for that amount of money I have a pair of glasses and sunglasses to wear the one-day of our summer

I then went on to the doctors where I convinced Doctors number 25 to prescribe me some new painkillers My can't you ever see the same doctor and have to explain my history every time...
I have left with a prescription another three items to add to my eight item prescription I already have, let's hope this starts to help my nerve pain, typical the pharmacy is queuing out of the door so I have left it with them till after the BH weekend, its now raining so my plan for a walk down the seafront before brownies have been scuppered so home for a cup of coffee and bit of Paul O'Grady, and think about if I should join the Fibit crew and pick it up from boots...
