Hello all, hope you had a lovely weekend. :)

I was a busy bee up until Friday night when I got more work in the garden completed, but didn't do a lot all weekend - relaxed a bit, (got bored a bit! :p), played a bit, walked a bit and snuggled a bit mainly. I need to buy compost and wood in the next few days, so I can get on with the rest of the garden, especially as the weather is going to be nice all week. :) I'd also like to buy some trellis to put up against the fencing to grow some plants up it, but that may be out of reach money-wise until next payday. :o

Lots of orders to do tonight and hopefully half an hour of wii-fit. I need to charge my fitbit tonight as the battery is about to give up on it too. Then, an early night for me as am super-tired today.

    Monday love to you all

Hello lovely lady. My fitbit tells me I got a whole 3 and a half hours sleep last night. It lies. Sleeping in a bed with a coughing, raging temperature littl'un is not conducive to sleep!!

Yay for snuggling. I read between the lines it was a happy Him weekend. Hope work is ok today poppet :)

    Big hugs xxx

Oh Lilty, I feel for you, you must be knackered. :( I'm in a lack-of-sleep induced trance today too, sleep still not really improving. :( Can't wait to get home tonight, not loving work and struggling to keep my eyes open!

Hope Jelly is feeling better now, was it a virus or something? Poor little munchkin.

The T-shirt still hasn't arrived either hun, although does say tomorrow at the latest. I'm starting to think they didn't post it when they said they did, no way it should take that long! When is it needed for?

The weekend was... well... up and down.

I'd had a really positive week last week and as soon as he got home Him's daughter was being a nightmare, was still awake and kicking off at 11pm Saturday night, was a terror Saturday daytime and Sunday morning and we had no time to ourselves until last night. It really brought me down again. Him tries to discipline her, but she is extremely hard work when she is acting up.
As I said to him, it's not much of a relationship atm really. :(

So, Saturday was tough and I was quite tearful about the whole 'us' situation, but Him was lovely about everything and I felt better after we talked about it. He does have a way of lifting the fog and making me see things more clearly.

He also told me off for bottling everything up all the time, doing too much for everybody else and playing the 'I don't need anyone I can do it by myself' card all the time (which he sees right through :o), but as I said, I don't have anyone else to lean on Mon-Fri (except the ex, but that's not really applicable) and I don't really have a choice. He said he'd rather I cry on him a little bit every weekend and get it all out than to crumble when it all gets too much.

I know that I get my back up a little bit with him at the start of every weekend. I guess I'm a bit angry at him for being away all the time and, subconsciously, I don't want to get too close to him because by Monday morning he's gone again. Stupid I know, but a defense mechanism I guess. :(

However, we were child-free from early evening yesterday, so we made sure we spent some quality time together. We went out for a bite to eat (using a voucher!;)) and had a lovely evening of laughing together until our sides ached and enjoying being together, just like it used to be. We have booked to go away for a few days at the end of July, just the two of us, and I can't wait. :)

It really is just the working away situation that is causing all the upset, but there's not a lot either of us can do about it at the moment. Hopefully that will all change in a few months, I don't know, but we'll see.

Sorry, that's turned into a bit of an essay there!:o

Urgh, I just want to go home today... Two hours to go...

Someone send sugar... in the form of doughnuts

    :)

Hey lovely, I've been away for a while so just been catching up!! That's lovely that you and Him are going away next month, I'm sure you'll have a really lovely time and it's something to look forward to when you are having a down day.

Well done to O on eating some veggies!! He's done it once so he can do it again, especially if he said he liked them :D I'm sure you've tried hiding them in the past but that's what my friend does ;)

    Much love xxx

Hi becs, lovely to hear from you

Yeah, have tried hiding the veggies, but he seems to have a remarkable skill of finding them and inspecting every little bit of food before it goes in his mouth lol!

How are you feeling now? Hopefully things are well with you.

    Lots of love

Lol!! He's very intelligent, which sucks for you :rotfl: I remember my dad once telling me that brussel sprouts tastes of Smarties... I was horrified when I actually ate one!! :rotfl:

I'm feeling a tiny bit better than I did last week thank you. I had a few days where I was feeling extremely low, but I don't feel so bad today. I don't think the anti-ds are working but I'm seeing my GP and HV on Wednesday, so will tell them about it then. I hate feeling like this, I'm normally a bubbly happy person x
