It's more than OK NoOne
Happy to have you - you have been mentioned to me as an inspirational figure so I have been enjoying reading your diary too, you're doing so awesome
Thanks for stopping by.
Been watching Grease and Frozen on DVD with LL this afternoon (both his choices) so my head is presently a mash-up of musical/Disney melodies and he has been singing a chorus of LET IT GO on repeat loop for ages, obvsHooray for bedtime soon.

Sounds like he has good taste even at his tender age - DD (now 19) loves Disney and musicals - she's been playing Grease today and was amazed I knew the words and actions. You need to get him into a little leather jacket and some Brylcream
...just realised you probably don't even know what that is!!!!
NOA

I do .. lol... my dad used to use Brylcream (in the red tub) when I was a kid and I used to always sneak in to his bedroom drawer and take a handful of it and whack on my hair.. I didn't even really know what I was doing with it, just that I liked how it smelled.. haha
LL loves Grease because it was his mum's favourite film and I think she imprinted it on him from when he was in the womb and he almost always suggests it first when you ask him which DVD he wants to watch
But I must say it is slightly preferable to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse which has been his TV show of choice this week.. ' come inside, it's fun inside.. 'ARGH.x

Well... I turned up a bit late to this party. And I ate the jelly. Bad etiquette I know...
I am so very sorry about the job... but I am more ANGRY with SR. it sounds like he led you up the garden path. I've been there and had that happen more than a few times so I know how it feels. I know you tried not to invest all of your hopes in it and I hope that helped with the knock to your confidence... but it sounds to me like you had a lucky escape there!
Cat collage sounds mega! And just what LL needs to remind him of all the fab times
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse... :rotfl: Hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog.... little bit obsessed and we haven't even got that channel.
Anyway.. I will be radio silent for a few more days. You know where I am if there is anything I can help with. Just give me a pm/prod. xx
NOA I was not wrong. You are AWESOME! xxx

Just wondering if you've ventured into the competition bit of the forum? You may well not have time, but I tend to sit and enter a few on the laptop while I'm watching TV. I enter for short breaks, things I want, things that'll make good presents for people, and sometimes things I can sell on.
Only won 4 prizes in total last year, but one was a cheque for £500, and another was a Samsung tablet.
Might help to get a few toys/presents for LL, and some extras for yourself. Although I'm still working on the crate of wine! All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Late night rambling after 2 glasses of red (last weeks, no spends, don't worry).. do you think I am within my rights to be aloof with SR, at least for a while? I'm not very good at aloof-ness and usually forget I'm meant to be doing it and be my normal chirpy self to them :rotfl:... but I feel this case warrants special action - nothing unprofessional, just cool - distance keeping... teach him to lead me merry dance like that- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Hi Eisen - I don't post on the comps bit of the forum but I do keep an eye on it and in the past month have tried to enter as many comps as I can via free web entries and some via postcard
I'm hoping for a big cash prize to solve my worries :rotfl: so I entered the £35k Loose Women one 37 times, and the £60k This Morning one 5 times online. A crate of wine wouldn't be sniffed at though and I always keep an eye on any gadget, car, food voucher - or kid related ones that LL could benefit from
You never know.
