Managed to do some work via email and phone whilst bopping about but really need to do some properly now - this is my working from home day, not my taking care of personal crap day :rotfl:

"Headlice app? How does that work? Maybe it sends out an ultraviolet beam that destroys them? Probably not a laser, too dangerous". I swear that went through my mind in split second before I realised I'd misread it.

LOL that really made me laugh about "Homes under the Hammer"!!!
I was just going to say, it might even be worth checking out some of the "good quality" local charity shops for a coat and other bits and pieces for LL - or Freecycle, boot sales, or the Bay of E, or a local Facebook selling group. or Gumtree etc etc etc......because they grow out of things so quickly there's usually quite a lot on offer!
Who knows you might be able to get some bundles of things for him, and in turn sell/ pass on some of the things he's grown out of.£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Well hello Levi!!
Thanks for stopping by my diary. I have on and off from around 12.30am read through your diary! Dude had a very bad night and I was the unfortunate one who had to be awake with him.
I didn't see your last diary so don't know yours and LL back story but you seem to be doing a great job!
Keep chipping away with those cards and hopefully the consolidation will be possible in the future. Re changing banks. I've recently moved from a bank I've had for about 20 years and I was scared. But all went smoothly and loving the new account.

He'll be fine with no coat on the way there... I'll put money on the fact that he'll have his coat on normally when he comes out of school. Once he sees all the other kids in their coats at playtime/hometime he'll join in.
And don't worry what people will think...I agree with the others, the staff are used to it. Apparently when I was a kid, my mum took me to school in my pj's with my uniform in a bag as I'd not got dressed. She'd always threatened to, whenever I was faffing in the mornings, but one day the threat didn't work so she went through with it!
I never faffed about again before school.PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!0 -
Hey you
Sorry am trying to keep up but it has been manic. Am at work for a rest now.
Glad you have seen the doctor. As others have said, if they thought there was anything seriously wrong you would be at the hospital. My dad suffered with chest pains and palpitations a few years ago, eventually went to the doctors and was given a green slip and sent straight to the hospital from there to have numerous checks for heart attack symptoms. In the end, it was a hernia and acid reflux causing it, so please don't worry. If they thought there was something serious that needed urgent attention, you would be getting it in A&E.
Re the bank account, as I have said... use it in whatever way makes you feel comfortable. Start slowly and work your way up as your confidence grows. But from my point of view, and if you read back, most of your earlier stress was caused by thinking that your bank would close your account down and suck your wages up leaving you with bounced DD's as long as your arm & without any money for the month. If that was me, I would be moving my wages and DD's out of there sharpish, thus reducing that angle of stress big time. At the end of the day all you can do is what stops you worrying the most and what you find most helpful. From past posts I would say move everything. From current posts... I would say you're worrying more about what it will do to your credit history and your loyalty to Gnats Vest. Frankly what have they done to deserve your loyalty? How have they repaid it the first and only time you've asked for their help? As for your credit history... I've got 5 current accounts and a 5* rating. Go figure because I move the same money between each account on payday and back again :rotfl:
I really had to giggle at your nigerian scam lottery issue. :rotfl: you are so silly sometimes. You know.. if you always think things are going to go wrong.. they probably will! When you start thinking positively, that is when the good stuff happensx

My back story isn't very interesting I'm afraid- but in summary I'm 28yr single dad of 1 little boy who is 4. I am in a financial mess due to events but climbing out of it and finding lots of new ways to do so thanks to this site and the awesome tips and support. The diary is a lot of waffle, worries, jibber jabber and sharing some of the joys of parenthood so I hope you'll feel at home
~ I'll write back properly later you delicious people.. just in the throws of [STRIKE]making[/STRIKE] burning dinner and then dog-walkies time(love these light evenings!) and the bath/bed regime and then I'm all yours:p:heart2:.. Levi..x- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -
