I don't post often only when I have something meaningful to say but I'm always here. I know how far you have come and how changed you are, and trust me you are doing great. I once was where you are and want to reassure you that it will get better the good times are ahead, something to look forward to.
Please get the pursuit of happiness look out for it in the charity shops.

Hey Ameretto! welcome, thanks for reading
Lilty - very true, I'm glad I found out when I did instead of after he had hired me and made my daily life hell! (Or lured me back to his apartment :rotfl:)... so everything really is meant to be the way it is no matter how much I thought it was the end of the world at the time.."it all comes out in the wash" as my nan used to always say.
He must be a very complicated character which I find so scary because I take people at face value and also I trust easily so then I feel a fool when stuff happens and I find all along they were just some shady game player - sadly it seems to be rather prevalent in the working environment no matter what you do.- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

Not sad at all - enormously sensible! I must admit, I hadn't accounted for how fast kids grow... which is rather stupid of me.:o
When he was a newborn we had almost everything from bundles/car boot/eBay or people handing stuff down which did great for about 12 months, barely had to buy a thing.
I am looking forward to car boot sale season to get some stuff for him and will get bigger sizes too whenever I see anything good but in the meantime am deffo gonna check out charity shop and eBay bundles again.. he needs quite a few things and believe it or not he is already quite 'image conscious' :rotfl::cool: when i chose his clothes he sometimes tells me "I'm not wearing that and that together - they totally clash" -- He sometimes even tells me MY clothes look wrong and what I should wear instead. ... my little future Gok Wan.- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

I must admit I like MessyBetty's run down of your back story better
Dude is now 15.5 months (we're considering changing his name to terror!) and was quite a small baby, newborn clothes were miles too big when he was born and he was a week overdue! We had been given lots of things in various sizes and had to go buy things to fit him. Luckily a friend had a 4 year old and was moving house and clearing out so we were given clothes up to the age of 4 and i just kept buying stuff. He probably won't wear half of them but I've sold on most of his old stuff to fund new.
I dread the day when he becomes aware of his image. Or mine!

My DS2 (who is 5) is very clothes conscious too! I wouldn't say 'fashion' conscious, but he knows what he likes and doesn't like and will often comment when he thinks I look nice etc. He gets changed out of his schoolunoform the minute he comes home and always chooses things that match - then spoils it by sticking a costume on top!! :rotfl: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. For the first time (ever?) I'm too tired to do a proper entry tonight  Work was manic and everything on me proper aches and I feel like I wanna sleep for a month. LL is also feeling off-colour and came home from schoolio complaining of sore throat and the sneezes. He is huuuugely irritable and I am on about the 48th attempt of asking him to go back to bed. Overtired but refusing to give in to it
All being well we have free tickets to see preview of animated new movie HOME tomorrow morning which will be fab, free (apart from tram fare and supermarket snack:D) and help get him (us) out of the house a bit and break up the day :j
Sorry I can't catch up properly today but hopefully tomorrow things will be... calmer..:Dx- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -
