A cheat update from Lilty's thread.. plagiarising myself
 :heart2:
as it stands I'm doing a lot better than Luc - he has progressed from last nights feeling "sore throaty" into today being a full on snot-machine, with sickness and bad tummy just for added fun. He didn't want to eat all day but managed to get 2 slices of pizza into him this evening and he really wanted coca cola so I allowed it.
We had a small walk out with the doggy for fresh air but LL really wasn't up to it.
I think I'm either still only in the early stages of it or I'm not gonna get it as badly (cos I eat all my vegetables) but will see what tomorrow brings. I am achey/sore throaty and kinda sneezy with lethargy none of the stomach/sick stuff. Touch wood I won't get that.
The good news is his grouchy head has worn off and he is :A in a sorry for himself way - been asleep since 6:30- after a throw up session on his clothes- so now nice and quiet for me and have been resting in almost complete silence doing some reading. My chest feels tight and my heart is racing but again I think it's just cos I keep thinking about it
Thanks for your well wishes!
ps: last night was awful - neither of us even got any sleep til gone 1am because LL was playing silly beggars and wouldn't stay in his room but after I put him back there 14 times he must have worn himself out and this morning I found him asleep on top of the bed the wrong way around.... I felt a bit cos he wasn't well and had tear marks on his face from all the drama he had caused the night before..needless to say, brought him in my bed for cuddles+cartoons are prescribed.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend xxxxxxx- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

This is a really horrible virus thing that's going round at the moment - including all the feeling sick etc. Hope you both get over it quickly!

Levi!
Just because everyone seems to be getting this horrible horrible LURG didn't mean you and LL had to join in!
You have my utmost sympathy as I have pretty much been ill since the beginning of December with the occasional break. It seems to be the way of it for so many people and quite frankly, it sucks!
I am wishing you both a quick recovery and hope you are doing ok. Lots of sympathy and comfort foods until you are better.

Thanks:) Lurgy so-so.. LL has improved a little bit - no more throw up and a bit more "alive"... maybe just a 24 hour thing but he still has a little way to go. I'm still neither here nor there - my throat isn't as sore and no other symptoms have developed other than fatigue (which is normal for me!) and this ongoing concern with my stupid heart. Last night I couldn't fall asleep due to the adrenaline surges, I'm probably repeating myself massively here but it feels like the whole time I have extreme butterflies of the stomach and chest.
I did the washing and some cleaning up this morning which led to me being breathless and exhausted and dizzy. I'm convinced my thinking about it is what is making it worse but then it's a catch22.:o Meh, we'll see what happens, ECG on Tuesday evening and the blood tests on Thursday morning.
Managed to get us out of the house to walk Ozzy and then to Lidl where I topped up the weekly food stock for £29 :T To be fair we have made last weeks stuff last quite well but have sorted out a few dinners, ingredients for some batch cooking and our work/school lunch stuff.
Coming up this week I have costs of Ozzy's booster on Wednesday (£34) and find a small present to post for Mothers Day. I also have to mail a card LL's uncle/godfather in the USA so the cost of the card and the postage on that. And I need petrol. But still on budget for the month and will have enough to pay a total of £550 to the Natwest credit card before the payment due date.
Anyway, gotta go ..LL wants me to help him sharpen all his pencils for tomorrow...then need to sort make sure we both have clean clothes for the week (ironing) and on to making the dinner..roast chicken and baked potatoes w/coleslaw... the rock and roll life never ends  x

You've done loads today whilst still unwell - you're definitely SuperDad!!:T
Hope you can relax a bit this evening (Not easy, I know...) but we don't want you to wear yourself out or make those palpitations worse. You know I mentioned that Dr Claire Weekes book? She had lots to say on those and other physical symptoms associated with stress. (And the vicious  circle it causes)
Take it as easy as you can for the rest of the day (while sharpening pencils of course!!)£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Thanks Humming.
Have found a 2nd hand copy of that book pretty cheap on Amazon so am going to get it soon - seems to be very highly rated and as you know I love those old 'tried & tested' self help books that have stood the test of time like with the works of my dear old pal Dale Carnegie.
Luca refusing to eat any dinner..Just wants lots to drink. He has an hour of freedom before bed (bath was this morning) and he's clearly feeling better as is fighting with the punchbag and singing to Kanye West.
A full evening of chillax for me as my chores are almost all done. Laundry sorted, food shopping sorted, dog knackered, pencils sharpened, packed lunches made, bedding changed, all rooms hoovered, bathroom and kitchen floors cleaned - just one final clean up of the kitchen and I can sit down with some naff TV :T- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -
