Oh, October. It's bad news. The disease is progressive. It moves into sudden interest in the shopping channels (with feelings of not being able to live without that knife sharpener/vacuum bag/juice making machine), then playing online bingo.. and then... wondering if you HAVE YOU HAD A SLIP OR FALL IN A PUBLIC PLACE THAT WASN'T YOUR FAULT?.. and finally June Whitfield making you worry about what your loved ones will do if you haven't properly paid for your funeral and offering you a free carriage clock if you sign up to pay for your funeral TODAY!
    :j :p

PS: I always presumed the free carriage clock is so you can just sit and watch the minutes passing until your death, perhaps from the sitting-up bath that Carol Vorderman sold you. Happy days.

  • Not sure how I am going to fit it all in with the job hunting, cleaning, baking and walking that I am determined to do! Not to mention the sewing and E of Baying hehe.

I always thought the carriage clock looked a little tacky. I'd rather a pen. Oh and if I get to the level of Jeremyy Kylee, I will need putting in the local madhouse.

I shouldn't worry - when I was unemployed, I never woke up in time for Jeremy Kyle. ;)

If not, you'll have all of us to answer to. No pressure or owt. :) x

Jeremy Kyle... The show that never fails to make even the most dejected and depressed of people feel SO MUCH BETTER about their life... :rotfl:

My mum and dad are retired. If they ring me up one more frickin time to tell me that some middle aged persons tv show is filming in my town again, or worse yet record it and make me watch it when I visit... I'll put them in a home. :D

And don't forget homes under the hammer. (although when not working, I was never actually up early enough. :o)

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • I'm terrible. I like escape to the country where people with loads more money than I have, look at mahoosive houses and say they are all horrible. Then there is 60 minute makeover, how many people can you cram into a terrace house, while putting the most ghastly wallpaper in tiny rooms. Then my absolute favourite on a Wednesday night is tiny house nation on more four. That one is awesome... (OH has been leaving me on my own too many night this week!)

Oh for the days before my TV became commandeered by the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse :p

LL got up again "dyinnnnnnnng of thirst" and then he wanted beef crisps. I gave in on the basis he had no dinner. Now he's munching them noisily and breaching the peace of adult-hour. :undecided
