    Heyo
Yeah, pretty manic - work was crazed...and by the looks of it every day this week is much the same...:undecided
I'm feeling more or less OK, lurgy wise. I seem to have got off lightly. LL still isn't great but I had to send him to school due to my work commitments and no last minute child-care option. When I dropped him off I let the folks at the breakfast-club (who also run the after school version) know that he'd been unwell at the weekend and they were going to tell his teacher for me too. No more vomiting thankfully and I'm sure he's on the mend. He ate well today but is very tired and has gone to bed at 7 - no drama, another good nights kip and I'm sure he will be even better again tomorrow. I'm going to try and get him into his own bed for at least one night a week and build up from there but haven't quite decided how to start out on that..... or how to get him to go along with it... so we'll see. :o

Drew out £20 in cash when I went out at lunch time - spent a couple of quid on a birthday card for LL's uncle in the USA(Luca said we had to get him one with something "Englandy" on it so I found one with London buses on it) I will post tomorrow, and I also need to get & post a Mothers Day present tomorrow- all of that will come from the same (budgeted) £20.

So that's my lunch hour swallowed tomorrow(no time to eat!) and then straight from picking up LL from school tomorrow I have to go to my ECG. Working from home Wednesday but also have Ozzy's booster - and then have to fast from 6pm Weds PM to go to my fasting blood tests on Thursday at 8.30am.. and be late for work in the process :undecided. So yeah... back to back shizzle basically all week. :(

Anyway, spring seems to have very much SPRUNG and that is pleasant.
SR came and chatted to me at work for a bit but it was only about hair wax preferences (random, but he started it). New assistant doing well but I was in a bit of a "can't be bothered to talk" mood today at work so she probably thinks I am an arrrrrrse :o
Jerk at work who had a go at me the other week seems to be keeping out of my way, I've said a couple of polite 'hello's ' but no chat.

A friend emailed and invited us to visit at Easter weekend :j Something to look foward to.
And we have free tickets to Spongebob Sponge Out Of Water this coming Saturday morning in Wimbledon (my leverage for the week, so only if he behaves):p

Hi Levi, if its the Dr Weekes book you bought stick with it when it arrives. Its very easy to read but as it was written a good few years ago the language can seem a bit dated. There are lots of helpful ideas and nuggets of wisdom in there if you can see past the way its written. It is a classic though and fits in quite well with the idea of 'mindfulness' which can also assist with anxiety. Good luck tomorrow!

Easter plans sound lovely Levi, as for sponge bob, he creeps me out a bit so rather you than me, but I'm sure LL will love it! You know you'll be singing those songs for the rest of the week though... they won't leave your head, I'm telling you. Good luck with that, do not at any point feel the need to spread the spongebob singing madness...

As Edwink suggested, it may be a great bargaining tool for sleeping in his big boy bed.

Hope the ECG etc goes well, keep us posted (or else) :D

Hope tonights appointment goes well. Great that you have something to look forward to at Easter Xx

    Hi Levi

Been thinking about you today and you having your ECG tonight!!

Hope it all went well and you get some reassurance from having it done. Some will give you an idea of the outcome but others (if you ask) say you will be told at your outcome appointment!!

Bet your heart was beating fast when you had the ECG. I know mine was and they said at the time that everyone's heart rate goes up having it done especially having all those wires draped over them!!

Please let us know how it all went!!!!

    Edwink x

ps. Have you made that yummy soup yet????

Thanks for thinking of me Edwink:)
Just back from docs.. they were running on time thank goodness.. no hassles.. LL was able to come in and sit on a chair just outside the cubicle with another nurse, but the thing was so darn quick, I was in and out within 5 minutes and that included all the taking clothes off, being wired having the wires taken off again and putting clothes back on. Weird experience, nothing like what I'd imagined.. after I was wired up, a super fast print out appeared of my results, like in about 5 seconds, and the nurse just started peeling those thingies off me and I was like 'is that it?'.. and it was. No indication given, as I suspected, but she just said to make a GP appointment. I have my bloods on Thursday and GP appointment made for next Weds to get all the results at the same time.

Just waiting for dinner to cook..late.... so LL is off schedule too now by a bit... & I'm so knackered :(.....but I'll be back on later tonight to properly catch up I'm sure xx
