  • Glad you are not freaking out :rotfl:. Totally believe you and all, what with it being in traffic light colours ending in green for go :p.

Can they increase your limit? I know you don't want the extra, but if it would avoid the £12 over limit charge each month while you pay it down it would help. Xx

Lucky - they won't. I tried. :( Nobody will touch me with a greasy barge pole. Understandable, I'm maxed up to the tits on everything. Paying down slowly and steadily is all I can do. My target is still 2019 to be debt free so in the grand scheme of things that isn't bad at all. And. Lots of lessons learned and self improvement along the way, which probably is far more valuable than all that money can buy.
PS: Well spotted on the traffic light colours :)

  • Well that is a total pig! get on the phone and get those bloody charges refunded for a start. Methinks you need some MeandO steel in getting it refunded. If that doesn't work, go in branch and throw a total childish meltdown strop on the floor of the bank until they do something to shut you up. It works. Have seen it done. Embarrassing as hell but it worked :rotfl:

Really think you ought to consider speaking to someone in the real world Levi... I know you have mentioned your brother. Even if he would just lend you £200 to drop enough below the limit to avoid this in future. What your debt accrues from is understandable. It relates to all the crazy stuff that resulted in LL living with you. You need to find someone and swallow your pride just for a little while. must have taken him a good bit of courage to ask you each time he did. Now it is time to repay the favour in a small way.

Don't freak out... Action will solve this ok. You need to DO something. And that something is kicking some bank !!!!, getting the charges refunded, and then speaking to your bro. Or mum, or Lucas maternal grandparents. Find someone... ok?

And this is the point where it starts to change. Your spotless record is no longer spotless. And it is not your fault. But you can stop trying to juggle that particular ball now. Drop it. Resign yourself to a couple of years of not getting more credit, and do an I&E form which shows the bank you cannot afford to make payments to them. Expand your outgoings if you need to here and there to prove to them they need to drop that interest.

Get that chin up. Get your glitter out my little Unicorn. xx

Instead of clicking the Quote button click the 2 balloons next to it on each of the posts you want to quote. When you've clicked on them all click the Post Reply button on the left and they will appear as if by magic :)

Huh, I slept whilst you lot were grizzling and what do I get - nothing! Well I'm not playing that game again, I'm going to be up every 5 minutes waily-wailying for juice, milk, stories, hugs, teddies, and anything else I can think of.

Levi (ahem I'm adopting a more adult voice now), have you contacted CAB to ask them to intervene with NastyWest for you? Definitely think about a Debt Management Plan (DMP) via one of the charities (CAP for example). Demand a refund of the o/d charges (but remember that the bank will only refund these once) after you complain that their charges have pushed you over your o/d limit.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Ooooo, Levi, guess what's just been placed on my desk, all finished :)
Will be on its way to you very soon.

It's a bit bigger than planned though - 12" instead of 10", hope that's ok.
