The rest of the info, I don't care to furnish him with. At least I know how he really feels (and how he alleges the others in our department do too, but I know the manager does not and I have her full respect and support).
Spot on - if anything similar happens again, tell them you have no intention of discussing your personal life and if they have an issue to take it to your manager where it belongs.I left for my few days annual leave and he must have felt pretty bad because by the time I got home he had sent me 2 texts to apologise for it and then ask if I was OK. By then I had already deleted his number :rotfl: and have no intention of replying.
Enjoy your leave and try to put the work stuff out of your head for the duration. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

OMG That guy sound like a d.head.sorry it had to be said.
None of his business , he is taking far more liberties by what he does how dare he speak to you like that.
You didn't go down to his level as you could have pointed out that he takes a lot of liberties.
He knew he was in the wrong, therefore he wanted redemption from you and you did my reply.
It may not be true that other people are talking about I absolutely detest gossip so evil.
Some people at work are just annoying, I have a very subtle bully at work, just gotta a bit more aloof with them then the others, I really don't why people are like that, not confident enough?
Anyway rant over enjoy your time away, make sure you have a proper from it all, make sure your family looks after you0 -
Have a safe journey and a fab few days. Allow your parents to spoil you

Thanks for the safe journey wishes
I have now watched that TED Emotional First Aid video - thanks again for the heads up on that - totally relevant stuff and the guy presenting was great - I looked him up after and read some of his other stuff.
Sorted a little bit of packing out, I'm not used to travelling with a child so I'm sure I'm going to drastically overpack! We're only gone 2 nightsHave an absolute banging headache, I think my BP has risen again a lot with the stress of today, I get the heart racing stuff and then bad sort of palpatation feelings where it actually feels like I can feel the blood racing around the body and sort of thudding in the head and chest.. hard to describe but at certain points last weekend after the SR drama, I felt like I might have a heart attack or my head would actually explore or whatever else.
^ Another reason why that TED talk was incredibly insightful because all this neglect of ones psychiatric health has major implications on the body as well, as Dale Carnegie also points out rather often too, with a saying like "I'm willing to take your affairs in to my hands, but not into my liver and lungs". Have to remember to use techniques to calm down the physical feelings way before it starts to get in any way scary.
Blah, I'm posting on my thread too much tonight - soz
I'll leave you in peace now. Will have access over the weekend so will check in I'm sure anyway. Love ya'll... Levi..x

"Are we nearly there yet?"
And repeat. Again. And again.
How are you at I spy?
More seriously, could you try some de-stressing deep breathing and muscle relaxation techniques. Can help if you're really tense.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
