My mum keeps texting me very complicated questions about the weekend - presently involving a "3-fish-roast" and whether LL will eat it. I am having visions of a fish inside a fish inside a fish, all still with their eyes on :rotfl:
On the plus side it sounds like we are going all inclusive on the food front ! - and she has offered to look after LL on Saturday night if I want to go and "let my hair down" So maybe will have a chance to have a quick beer with my brother or sister or both and a chat. Maybe we will have *that* chat Lilty, but I'm not sure.
Satchmo, I really don't think a DMP is right for me having explored it fully a while back with StepChange. But when I feel confident I may call the credit card company again. Still haven't had a reply from Natwest on the current account side of things. Can accept the charges if needs be but would really love any help if there is anything they can do informally. Not expecting miracles though and may just have to lump it. Time will heal all.
PS: You can have a gold star too for last night:A You lot better not get used to these bedtime stories, it wore me out

Another long time lurker here. Just wanted to wish you well - think you're doing a tremendous job.
Just one thought, are you claiming for all the benefits you may be entitled to? Child benefit, working tax credits - sorry, not very knowledgeable on this front but maybe it's an area worth exploring if you haven't already?
Going back to lurking again now........0 -

Ah thanks Rainbow
Yeh, I'm getting everything that we are able to get in terms of government help (which I'm afraid isn't much but every little helps and all goes toward the upkeep of LL).
Haven't achieved as much as I wanted today in general but never mind. Did some work. Got petrol. Swooped around the flat with my dustbuster and made a shepherds pie for dinner. LL still isn't eating much. Nothing appears to be -wrong-, just being a bit of a fusspot. Does anyone with a small child know about the WHY? phase? He's having that too. Everything I say to him or ask him is met with WHY?????? How long should I expect this to last?
When he's not doing that, he is singing - today was "it's all about the bass" at the top of his voice on our drive home from schoolio which was- enjoyable-.Made a change from Let It Go anyway. And he makes up a lot of his own songs!
He is snoozing now and time for me to watch some adult tv (:rotfl:). Love the GP's Behind Closed Doors on Channel 5.
I keep getting weird "jolty" type headaches whenever I think about my stressors
[money ] so the plan is not to think about it over the next few days! Simples. Only one more day at work and then I am off for FOUR DAYS!
Good night.. Levi x x

Lmao at his singing... little monkey, where has he learned that hmm?definitely beats Let it Go though... Jelly sings... DMX... or System of a Down.. :rotfl:
You can expect him to grow out of the Why phase when he moves out.same with the fussy eating.
