Can I have a drink of waaaaattttttteerrrr????????????????????A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

You made me cry
The first part of your story... well that's me. I've thought all those thoughts and think them all and more regularly.
I'm going on a plane next week, the first time since being a Mum and my darling boy is staying home with his Dad. I've been stressing and worrying about what happens to him and whether he'll remember how much I love him if/when the plane crashes. (dammit, crying again!!!!). I could go on, but I'm sure you can empathise with 99% of the crazy, irrational fears and worries that fill my head on a daily basis.
I think you may be responsible for a dramatic upturn in sales of that book very soon, I shall be looking for it first thing in the morning!
Thank you Levi, nice to know I'm not crazy.
Much.
And I'm sleep [STRIKE] talking[/STRIKE] typing, so exempt from the naughty step, before you ask.(Although sometimes, I relish the idea of [STRIKE]35[/STRIKE] I mean 21 minutes of quiet time out on the step - 1 for every year of your life, right??

Lilt/Apple - it would be a house of fun if we all lived together, you two walking about, Lilt telling people off and I apparently I shout in my sleep and have great big arguments with people sometimes :rotfl: it makes up for being so placid in real life I guess- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

:rotfl: yep, 21(;)) minutes for you MeandO.
Sorry I made you cry though
I can identify with how you feel on everything, trust me when I say I am (or am when I forget to apply the techniques) the worst in the world at catastrophic thoughts. (Lilt, didn't you ban that word? I can't remember what I was allowed to use instead though soz)
I hope I didn't compound your feelings! I know being a parent also makes it all get a bit out of control because we have a whole new little person to max out the thoughts and worries on.
Get the book before you go if you can! I have an audio version too that I got for free on audiable but I'm not sure if I'd be able to send that to you somehow digitally, I don't think they let you otherwise I would gladly.
If you feel like your thoughts are getting worse then don't let it spiral, I know you're already seeking help for anxiety related issues but the darn thing takes on a life of its own if we aren't careful and any little things going wrong in life can be such a trigger.
Don't worry about next week... be rationale (pot, kettle time here) and I assure you none of those nasty things in your mind are going to happen at all.- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

They all listened, took note, did as they were told....and lived happily ever after:)
Good old Dale....Remember him from management days:o but haven't seen this book.
Thank you for the lovely story Levi, what a star you are for summarising it all so well. :T:A
Hope the hero of the story is practising and will soon have perfected all of those tricks and techniques and goes on to have a contented happy blissful long and healthy life having fun with his loved ones.:)
Night Night, sweet dreams Levi:)

No, not at all Levi. I maxed them out all by myself today lol!
And you're quite right, I totally blame the little people!!!!

Ok, I'll try, but if there's radio silence from me after next week, you know you'll know you were wrong and there was no other person who could fly a plane on board!!!
Sorry - for the life of me I can't seem to quote from posts correctly!

Me&O some things you have said make me think you are in a similar position to where I was just over a year ago... I do hope you are ok and have a decent support network? Family nearby? Hugs to you... try not to worry too much about what may or may not happen. I know it is hard but get... *organising*
because it really does keep your mind off things

Levi yes it was banned, which was why I called you Cataste which is italian for 'heap/pile/stack' :rotfl:

^That was a pretty cool way of doing it if you ask me  There's no need to apologise, I rarely use the quote thing and most of the time I don't respond properly to people even though I read and take everything in.. I'm naff at the replying properly side of things:o And that makes me feel bad and I'm a bad person and everyone knows that really and due to that I am likely to lose my job and then I will lose the house and we will be living on the streets and then we will starve to death..etc.. OBVIOUSLY
see.. i can do it with anything
Not making light of it though (although at times we do have to!)
Nothing bad is going to happen to you next week and O will have a good time with his daddy while you're away - and then you'll be back with O before you know it
My diary is an absolute rollercoaster of good/bad emotional times - sometimes in massive extremes - so I'm sure all of what I've said I've taken onboard can be thrown back in my own face before longPart of having it on here though will be that I can re-visit those important bits from the book in a 'quick-glance' way which should be quite helpful
