It is best to drive tomorrow after the day you have had. I'm glad the doctor has given you a note at least you can submit that into work, they must believe it is in your best interest as they don't give them out easily.

Hang on in there Levi and as others have said you are not dragging anyone down we are here because we choose to be.

^ Couldn't agree more mummymandy. Well done for all you've done today Levi in getting to the GP and then to Manchester to support your Mum. Hope you have a lovely restful evening with her and you can then drive back tomorrow - wouldn't be good to drive back tired. And three cheers for FGN!!! xxx

Hi Levi, sorry I haven't posted for ages due to a few major life events hitting me in the face, but have caught up on your diary. I can only echo the sentiments of all the lovely people on here that you are doing brilliantly and are a fantastic father and son! I won't go into all my rubbish but I found that practicing mindfulness has helped me no end with my depression, along with exercise, but I know that different things help different people - and it's taken me time to work out what's right for me.
Be kind to yourself and remember: It will all be alright in the end, and if it's not alright then it's not the end! X

Glad your mum has had her scan now Levi. Poor thing it doesn't sound very pleasant. It is great you were there for her. I agree that staying over is the safest choice for you. Hope you get some rest.

Thanks my preciouses.
Decided to stay over and will set off early tomorrow. Pretty knackered. In mums random spare room with all the washing piled up, a single bed /duvet with no cover and a poster of George Clooney staring at me (LOL. YEAH I KNOW). Oh and a ceiling fan which is heavenly, I always get too hot. SpoKe to LL on the phone. He is fine. His sunflower has 3 stalks now. He is having it on his bedside table at night so it can be the first thing he checks. Sold a book I'd forgotten all about - £4 (amazon marketplace) so will post that when I am back tomorrow. Also have my CBT tomorrow at 3pm but its just an information gathering session I think! LL will stay at after school club but I won't be much longer. X
