i forgot to say, I had a text from PPI saying they received my acceptance form and will have the funds by 24th may.. i presume this will land back in my natwest account or maybe a cheque, who knows? spoke to a guy at work who has had successful PPI claims and he said he got it quite fast after the acceptance form went back.

Sorry about all the "i forgot to say" messages but just one more.. anyone know where I could get a kid-friendly sunflower growing kit? Bit random I realise but LL wants to grow a sunflower... do such kits exist or should I just buy seeds and do it the bog standard way.. I'm not sure if I know whT i'm even talking about here really!

it'd probably be cheaper for you to go and buy the seeds and a little terracotta pot, which LL can paint however he wants (added fun!!), and then you plant a couple of seeds and wait... will you be planting them in the ground after they've germinated? (they'll grow bigger that way).. if so you don't need a big pot, just a 9/10cm one would be fine xx

You really do not need anything 'kid friendly' just some sunflower seeds and some soil (and a pot for the soil to be in if you don't have a garden)

GARDEN CENTRES - do those little pots with the seeds, in plastic hanging up, you used to be able to buy cactus' and venus fly traps etc....

The home bargains/£ stores near me always seems to sell those Levi - pot included - worth a look... or as Stepup said, buy a little pot and get LL to paint it.
Ds wants to grow potatoes, I saw some seed potatoes in HB for 99p last week, so now I just need to get a big tub and some soil. We have blueberry bushes which do amazingly well considering the lack of attention they get, and some strawberry plants - but the birds always seem to get to those first!

You should both plant a sunflower and see whose grows the tallest.

try to get the miniature versions as the standard sunflowers grow massive and are hard to maintain....(if you dont want the full blown sunflower experience)

I have grown potatoes from an sprouting potato in a plastic bin from wilkos with the brownies, got a few new potatoes out of it, we have also got crocuses growing out of wellies but suppose sunflowers are more appleasing
