Today has been OK!

Got my tax credits letter in the post which explains things hopefully once and forall.. the weird £40 that arrived last week was on the statement as some kind of catch up payment, and my new 2015-2016 amounts are now calculated properly and I'm receiving about £50 per month more than expected which is awesome It appears I get it on the last Monday of the month.
Tomorrow is pay day.
Annnnnd.. so you know how I was worrying about the money spent at the weekend? You guys talked a lot of sense in to me about it (esp Edwink, thank you x) and I felt better.. but guess what I found on the street today literally just... lying there on the street? £10 note! I picked it up and still have it.. there was nobody around.. I mean.. am I meant to hand it in the police station or should I just put that down to some kind of universal gift?? I've never found cash in my life before and for it to be the amount I was worrying about at the weekend just felt so much like a "don't worry about it" message. Or am I going crazy?!? Well it's still crumpled up in my wallet so not too late if you think I should hand it in.. not sure what the laws are on these things!
Had a letter from Churchill to confirm the details of my incident and am still awaiting further instruction from Transport for London/Arriva about what happens next.

Work was alright...could be worse. Went to charity shop on lunch break to drop some other brick-a-brac in that had been in my car for ages. And it is pay daaay tomorrow :j I will be able to update my sig a little bit around the 1st. Looking forward to my lil trip this weekend to our friends place for bank holiday so all in all I feel my spirits are in better shape this week :cool: xx

I agree. A single note or coin counts as "roadkill". (Would have been different if you'd found a bundle of notes; then I'd say you should hand it in.) Perhaps use it to replenish the funpot?

Good news about the Tax Credits. That should help, shouldn't it?
