A little bit done on sig there but don't worry about calculations until Friday when I will have a bit more when my loan goes out.. then that will be about all for this month as minimums on credit cards will just about cover the interest so no dent in amounts. Gonna concentrate on getting out of O/D and back in "real money" before I slay them properly so you might find the O/D part of sig is the most SIGnificant (heh heh) for a while. loadsa love GF xx

Calculator at the ready for Friday - but it's not far off 10% already!

Quick question. Is the interest rate on your OD higher or lower than on your CC? If it's lower, it might be worth concentrating on the CC first.

Yeah. this is one I have wrestled with.. its more or less the same rate.. but O/D is a teeny bit lower rate.. BUT.. I will get the greater peace of mind out of the cleared O/D.. so I figure it's worth it :)

I would assume OD would be more as they tend to hide behind the £1 a day malarky but that works out higher the the credit cards but its hard to find the comparable interest rate

My credit card is a bit higher due to some of it being cash advance rate.
My 2 other credit cards are 0% and I am on track to clear them before the 0% expires if I stay fully on the track!

Hi Levi, a huge thank you for giving me the ppi idea, I've never had a credit card, but for the last 16 years have paid £1.60 a month on my Barclays current account as overdraft protection. Such a small figure I never bothered looking into it. Last week on my online statement I noticed it was called PPI, and as an avid lurker on your thread I thought I would challenge it. I was rather embarassed by how small it was, but I thought of your good news, and gave it a go. Today i have received a letter awarding me £1153.65, and it is already in my account! I can now take my 11 year old on our first little holiday. I cannot thank you enough Levi, much love to you and LL.

    Look at this!!!!

Look at what you have done Levi?!?! If you get satisfaction from your day job then this must be incredible! Normal, drama llama 'I'm not good enough' Levi (who is just perfect how he is thank you!), just earned someone £1153 with his own persistence, advice, help and support. Support you didn't even know you were giving. :j:j:j:j:j

mummymandy I am beyond happy for you; I am just about in tears (emotional day in my defence!) :D I hope you have the most fabulous holiday ever with your kiddo. You deserve it! :D:D xx

Levi...look at you spreading the love  and more importantly the money :money:

    Sooooo glad for you!

As you're focusing on slaying the OD may I suggest you do a 1% chart for the overdraft as well as the overall percentaging? May help to keep your focus!

Also, do you do online surveys? They tend to be crying out for men and you can earn a few bob there to put towards your overdraft (if you want referrals to some sites let me know cuz that'll net me a bit extra too ;))

As always, love you lots! :kisses3:

Glad you've had a great day!
