thanks sunflower supporters! you rock
good idea about freecycle for seeds edwink .. will try there first!
have given away a few items now on there so thank you for the tip-off on using it... it's great. actually have someone picking up my old car stereo tomorrow (no takers on ebay, even at £4.. twice relisted!:( oh well).. it went nearly as soon as i listed it on freecycle;)
quite productive today thus far!
went for a run with ozzy-dog first thing - when we left it was sunny but almost immediately after we left it all went grey and the heavens opened...nice soaking wet jog with a nice soaking wet dog.. surprisingly refreshing...
..did some work..opened a can of whoopass regarding the balls up yesterday....then popped to Sainsburys to pick up some groceries for our trip using some Nectar points.. got most things I needed for that and to top up our kitchen, all for around £40 which included some wine so as not to turn up empty handed to our friends. Popped into little garden centre to check out seeds.. never knew there were so many variations until you guys started enlightening me! Like the sound of those little ones.. will try and move the PROJECT along by getting some seeds and pot soon
Hoovered & cleaned living room. Cleaned kitchen.
(LL is now home and eating some cookies cross-legged on my newly hoovered floor - crumb fest again now I'm sure:p) and I still have the bedrooms to do which I'll cram in between now and dinner..hoovering and cleaning them behind beds etc.
75% packed for trip. Uploaded some new music to the iPod for the drive. Posted a card to my aunty who had a big operation yesterday.. (was my uncle when she went in :rotfl: just kidding) x
Oh and picked up a Glade Discreet refil.. couldn't carry on in life any longer with out it.. so yes I paid full price in Sains but.. well.. it can come out of the fun pot.. that is fun for me these days :rotfl: The smell of it holds fond memories for me and I feel lost when the flat doesn't smell of it.
oooh.. we have thunder & lightening now.. ozzy just jumped out of his skin and then went and barked at it(why do we say thunder and lightening when lightening comes first?)
Dinner is going to be (cheat) duck pancakes with home made egg fried rice.
annnnd..thas all I have for now!*end scene!* xx

Hi Levi, a huge thank you for giving me the ppi idea, I've never had a credit card, but for the last 16 years have paid £1.60 a month on my Barclays current account as overdraft protection. Such a small figure I never bothered looking into it. Last week on my online statement I noticed it was called PPI, and as an avid lurker on your thread I thought I would challenge it. I was rather embarassed by how small it was, but I thought of your good news, and gave it a go. Today i have received a letter awarding me £1153.65, and it is already in my account! I can now take my 11 year old on our first little holiday. I cannot thank you enough Levi, much love to you and LL.:beer:0
