Lol. I found it under the sofa!

Plenty of work to be getting on with today. Frost in garden but it looks like a lovely clear day. Hurrah!

It's Friday. Just found out that my job should be safe till April. Well that's another 5 months of salary hopefully that will go into savings.

I have an additional £120 that I can put in my savings as I didn't overspend this month and really only bought the basics.

    :)

It was Black Friday today. I was at work till late. I don't know anyone that bought anything.

  • Had a good day thank you :) Hope your day was good.
Don't know anyone who went Black Friday shopping. We did some food shopping but that's all. Decided not to buy a 55 inch TV as we don't watch the one we have. It's mostly used for putting plants on :p

I went to visit a Garden Centre that is known for its Christmas displays today. The exhibits were fine. I had to keep thinking that I only purchase necessities from now and left without spending money. Blimey prices have risen! I have fab Christmas decorations from previous years that are still useable and timeless.

I a v proud of myself as I have transferred money into my Christmas fund and met my quite low target. I will aim to keep a minimum of £500 for emergencies after Christmas I think.

This has been a no spend weekend. Hurrah!!!!

The key is not to go out I think. I keep looking for temptation on ebay and then talk myself out of it. Hurrah.

Payday at midnight tonight. I can't wait. I have another twelve hour day tomorrow (after 3 this week) most of which I am not even paid for. But to be honest I am just so grateful to have a job as most people in my job area are holding on by their fingertips.

Yay for payday. I currently have £420 in my Christmas Fund and this will go down quickly this month. So far:

    £100 gift to parents
    £40 gift to nieces
    £270 left

I signed up for the work's Christmas do as everyone else did and don't want to go. Yikes. I will pull out.

It is half three and still quite bright outside. Everyone is putting their Christmas lights up in our street. Only two and a half weeks till Christmas hols. I can't wait!!!!

I spent today with friends visiting all the Christmas shops. It was v busy in town. I didn't buy anything much but spent £15 cash on food. It was so good to catch up I haven't seen them for weeks since work started. As soon as it became dark I came home as the temperature really dropped.

I have just ordered a fleabay light for £52 including posting which could have cost about £100. It'll brighten up my hallway a treat! This is my Christmas present to myself. I love making my house look good.
