    Hello Mrs Upsidedown Bear,

I have had a bit of a 'queasy' day today. I have been unable to go for a walk but I did do a bit of prep for work.

All is well. My mum is looking after me. It is v dark. I have a mountain of work to get through before I get back to work on Monday. I may put up my Christmas tree this weekend to cheer myself up. I love my tree.

I am an olden now I have been posting for 5 years.

I can't wait till next payday as I think my savings are going to look great.

  • Just spent some money £10 on phone credit. I am debating whether I should pay for haircut on Friday at home before I go back to work as haven't had a haircut since August. Executive decision made: I might just make do for a bit. Since I haven't been at work for 3 weeks I can't justify it I think.

I have done a bit of work. Been ill again. Mum reckons I am eating too much fruit so I am going to eat carbs instead. It had better work as I must go back to work on Monday.

  • I have been watching the news in Paris. It looks really bad. Poor people. . I hope the emergency services can save innocent people. How can anyone believe murdering and targeting people is justifiable? I will pray for peace and order. Je suis triste.

  • I have a whole load of marking to do before I return to work. I have been doing some everyday for almost a week but there is still plenty. It'll keep me busy and this means I wont be spending money. In the back of my mind I keep thinking about Paris. I hope it is over now. I think passports must be bought back for all European citizens wishing to move in Europe. I hope the perpetrators are caught and dealt with quickly. I hope common sense prevails.

The weather is wet and dreary. I am so grateful for what I have and where I live. I think England is the best country in the world. I am hoping that everyone has a peaceful calm day.

Hello Mrs Upsidedown Bear, I have been back at work for one day. I am much better although a bit slow I am getting back into the swing of things. I have loads of new marking to do.

Weather is rainy outside. I finish early today so I am going to crack on with catch up work. My tree went up at the weekend and looks lovely. V happy.

Payday in about two weeks. Hurrah. So far I have spent £12 cash and also £18.00 on credit card this month excluding food. I am so proud of myself. The new me.

Do you read Frugal Queen's blog on Google? Please do check 'Keep calm its not Christmas' Post - superb. She is always on moneysaving form.

I have done a bit of work but have more to do.

Some quite nice articles are appearing in the press demonstrating that Muslims are not supporters of ISIS but actually their greatest victims. About time.

I went to school with some really nice muslim people and they are all westernised and kind. No way would they condone any of this terrorism.
