You're very organised! Get the tree up and start watching Christmas films, embrace your holiday and brighten up the dark nights a bit.

Rest is good as you've had a hectic time this year.

Hurrah it is payday. I am OPing mortgage £250 and saving £100. I spent a lot on Christmas presents this month so my cc bill will be high next month.

There is a gas electric homecare deal with MSE that I just signed up for as i am worried i dont have cover for boiler etc due to cutting it over a year ago. If i pay a one off dd it is even cheaper so only £111 for a the year. OMG. Im borrowing the money from my emergency fund. Thank you Martin and team!

Bless you i did marking today. I have two days to write some lessons and do a last few bits of marking. It was so good to not be at work!!!

I am only allowed to buy food, everyone else is getting vouchers for Christmas  if i havent bought their present already.

  • Vouchers are a good present if people can get what they want but the only downside is that they can see how much you have spent. Sometimes you can give gifts bought cheaply & save money but if you haven’t got the time or energy then go for the vouchers.

I am giving DS & his gf cash. Have agreed a limit with immediate family for small gifts up to £15 each and friends have agreed no presents. I haven’t even started looking for gifts yet 😬

  • We do vouchers, drink and chocolate with a token gift as it's easier to spread the cost over a few months.

Hope you're getting a rest this weekend and not just working.

I have been working all day and am tired. Hoping to have half my lessons written by the end of the day.

    I spent £81 on a bus ticket.
