Oh no, I'd hoped this place would be easier than the last one. Seems there's always someone who doesn't know how to speak with people.

Try and put it behind you and enjoy your weekend.

  • I am so sorry to hear this SW 😕 Work is hard enough for you without a bully for a boss. Can you get support from any of your colleagues? Hope you can relax over the weekend

Colleagues are all in agreement with me and lots of previous staff who worked here too. The bully is known for it. I am not assertive but it is time to put on my big girl pants and stand up for myself as everyone who knows him said the only way to stop them doing it again is by speaking out. Am working on a letter later. The worst that will happen is that they will sack me but he is is a known bully and quite frankly I am not putting up with this nonsense.

  • I am similar to you SW. I think afterwards that I should have said “this and that”. A letter is a good idea, keep the emotion out of it but state your case and show them you will not be bullied or pushed around. Hopefully then they will leave you alone

  • Well done for standing up and having your voice heard. Really irks me companies not dealing with known situations and nipping it in the bud.

Hope it's stayed dry for you.

Hurrah, thank you Skinty, only 3 days till the hols. I am seeing Andy in the first weekend and CraftyHants & other friends at the other weekend.

The rest of the time i am marking and lesson prepping!!! I might put Henry the Tree up too.

V excited as payday is before the last weekend of the holiday. I am debating whether to treat myself or not. It is best that i dont but i do get so excited that i have extra money.

    Holiday plans sound good.
Maybe a small treat, then you won't feel as guilty for spending. Save a few pound over the next couple of months and buy yourself something nice as a Christmas gift.
