Thank you today i spent much of the day sorting out my house insurance it took ages as the quotes were all so close i paid £147 in the end and got a free food box (?) thing from Just E@t thrown in! ( I am not sure what it is worth but it will turn up in two weeks)  then i slept for ages. I managed to mow 2/3 of grass as friends are coming tomorrow instead of weekend.

My new higher salary will kick in for the last week of August. So excited. I will have money again. I am still not 100% sure what my salary will be as the contract stated an amount and implied there was a bonus on top. We shall see on August 31st.

I had an amazing day yesterday and spent £50 which is half my food spending money on nice food for friends, it will last though so it is ok. I have £50 for rest of month. Now i am going to do some ironing in the garden while the weather is nice to music.

Sometimes these treats are indulgent, but the feel good factor is priceless.
Hope you've sat in your garden and appreciated the weather too.

I am v happy blood sugars are great I have just done the lawn. The weather was great today.

I have just checked I have £300 in my account once all dd's go through. Next month's credit card bill is rather magnificent (£380) and & is not entirely unexpected with all of the extra holiday spending i have been doing. All will be paid off on the due date early in September.

The house insurance had a bonus. The accompanying H&llo Fresh offer entitles me to 3 free meals for 2! ie 6 meals . A weeks worth of main meals so I will only need fruit and one loaf of bread next week. Hurrah!
