Lol it is 2pm and i am just about to start nothing done yet!!! Too hot. I have done washing instead.

It’s been too hot today SW, I hope you rested instead. You need to save something for your parents to do when they come to visit 😆

As you can see not a lot has been done. Plenty more for tomorrow. 

• Plant some daisies -leave to ask advice from mum as to best place
• Plant cornflowers-  leave to ask advice from mum as to best place
• Trim borders of lawn and greenhouse
• Clear debris from path
• Clean kitchen sink
• Vacuum again & Mop
• Clean gas cooker
• Wash windows
• Clean bathrooms

My contract has come from job, money is going up not sure by how much as i pay a lot for pension etc. Happy just getting ready for parental visit.

I think my salary is going up by a few hundred a month but waiting to see in my contract which isn't ready yet!!! I spent £90xmas money on nice pressies today for mum and dad. £40 left in my account till the end of the month. I am not buying anything now till  payday.

We are all gardening and putting it to rights. My brother conditioned and varnished the swing seat and I might be painting fences this evening.

It’s lovely that family are visiting and helping out 🤗 don’t overdo it though as the evenings are not much cooler than the days at the moment. Hope it cools down at the weekend.

I agree if my family wasnt here nothing would have been done as i would have just rested. They have done sooo much. My garden is 100 ft long all the bushes on the border on one side have been done, weeds have gone. We are shattered now.
