Hurrah I have been paid. After I have saved, paid mortgage etc I will have £335 for food and spending. I will spend £100 on food and £50 for spending. I owe mum and dad a fair bit of money for all the stuff they bought me and towards their petrol.
Luckily my work will take up most of my time this month so I shan't be spending my money on anything except half term.
So far I have saved nothing for Christmas. Yikes must move some money into that account to start the ball rolling.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I am there with you Savingwannabe - I haven't been doing a budget and have spent heaps more than I should have in September.
On Saturday I am off on holiday and will have to get my self sorted out when I get back. Back to austerity until the end of the year!Debt free 24/03/2015./ On Dave Ramsey's Baby Step 3./Full Emergency Fund 2500/6000./ Got mortgage on the 28/08/15./ 2015 MFW #117 1242.89/20000 -
Happy hols stereochild. I am going to try hard not to waste money at work and see if I can live on £10 a week for the next few weeks. I am not buying anything for me from fleabay either.
It is getting darker earlier now and getting closer to Christmas. Luckily the weather will be nice for a few more days.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
It's going to be a dry and pleasant weekend. I plan to spend no money and to do work at a relaxed pace and chill too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Ok, help. I have seen 4 items on ebay that are lovely and dirt cheap. I am talking 0.99-4.99 including postage. Two are lovely shirts from M&S that I would have paid full price for if i'd seen them and are only 0.99 plus postage (v cheap). Then there is a MAC foundation (the only one I wear) which is much cheaper than the price I usually pay instead of £24 it is only £2. Finally there is a red pair of shoes which are perfect for me, smart and comfortable and much cheaper than usual price(Clarks and my size).
My day out with nieces has been cancelled as their mum hates me and wont let it go ahead so I shant be going out over October but may spend one day with my best friends in town. Shall I spend about £12-15 (including postage) and buy these gorgeous things which I can live without although they would make my standard of living much higher?
Do I need a boost or a kick up the jacksey????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Help. All items are at bargain prices and are my favourite colours and would look fab at work. I want to bid but will only bid if you agree. My savings are a bit poop and I want to be rich one day this isn't how it's done is it?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
My OH says you shouldn't buy them but as I always ignore him you should too
Buy them I say :T
Just don't make a habit of it or you will be very poor forever :doh:0 -
Bless you Mrs Upsidedown Bear and your other half too for helping me.The boys and Susan have all rung me and told me to buy one item ie shoes (Steve)and all (Susan) as they are so cheap.
This is why I am poor as I keep buying 'stuff'. I must have about 50 tops in my favourite colour. I don't know if I need any more but I would like the shoes (as I don't have any red one's) for work. I will also get the foundation (vvv cheap) as I wear makeup everyday and the shoes.
I am not allowed to exceed a total spend of £15. I bet Frugal Queen wouldn't have done this in the olden days. I really love buying clothes and stuff.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
If you have 50 tops already maybe you don't need more
Just buy the shoes and the foundation:)
