when I return to work I am going to try to reduce unnecessary spending ie. take lunches and snacks with me and a drink too and walk as much as possible to save money. Hopefully that will reduce my wasted spending so I can use the money on nice things that I will enjoy.
I would like to buy an android box for my tv and also connect all my tvs together so I don't have to pay Virgin any extra. I will ask an electrician how to do this when I get paid this month.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I am down to my last few pounds and really watching my pennies now but there is a whole week before payday. Yikes. I did buy some fruit today though.
I bought insurance using confused dot com and I should get some kind of cinema two for one offer but don't know if I will be able to afford to go for a long time!
The weather was boiling hot today. I mowed grass and nearly passed out on sofa (joking) with heat. I am deciding what to do tomorrow. I think it will rain which rules going out. Plus I can't afford to really.

It rained heavily this morning but I have had a glorious afternoon with sunshine. It has been a restful day for me, I haven't spent any money and I am going to be watching tv fairly soon.
I am looking at the spending and saving situation for next month and thinking that I will be pretty poor next month too. It is tempting to not save but I must continue or I will not get anywhere. I wish I was a spendaholic but I can't do that as I keep thinking I need to save in case something happens to my job. My kitchen fund might end up being my emergency fund.
My plans for an android box are postponed for a while I think but I have pretty much everything I need anyway so it's no loss.
I have been watching a fascinating programme on tv called Desi Rascals. It's kind of TOWIE but for Asians. Blimey I think I spent a lot of money socialising when I was their age but they all have really flash cars and swimming pools and don't seem to be working v much although they do have rather glamorous jobs. I've got to remember that the reason they have been chosen is that they are atypical and entertaining and not to compare my own to their conspicuous spending patterns. But it's good to wish!!!!!
Onwards and upwards. It'll be worth it in the end when I get a nice kitchen or at least have a good emergency fund.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hello. We went cassiobury as itis a bigger park with fountains and just to do something different.
The fountains you can play in.
I love desi rascals, it is so unreal in my circle of poor money lol.
The family from Harrow are definitely not rich, nor the Hounslow famiky.
The latest flash editions have rich parents and expensive jobs.
The other lads with beards, own a gym and garage. Not rich either.
I tweet the cast but never get replies. Although I tell them my opinion lol.
Nearly end of holidays for us.
You will get there hun. You have made so many changes to your life, all very positive too.0 -
Thanks for letting me know Aesop. I still love the programme. It's light entertainment without stress. It is fascinating to see Asians on the telly. Glad they are clearly seen as not having the stereotypical arranged marriages or budding terrorists.
They look rich. It's all that socialising and nice clothes I think.
Anyhow, I am off to bedski so I can get up early tomorrow. Night.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Shymoel, Yasmin, Adam, the the one, are all well off, as have rich parents and their own businesses.
The others aren't rich.some of the scenes have been shot in coffee shops and pubs in my area. Believe me they aren't posh places lol.
And remember it's a tv programme. It's filmed for tv audiences, so some of the places are nicer than normal, makes good tv. Ànd the scenes are edited for our entertainment
I do enjoy watching for the laughter factor0 -
