Went to work, tidied desk, bought loads more files home to sort I will do one every day! Will go in later in the holiday and bring another 15 files that are under desk. Hopefully most of them will be recycled as I haven't used them for a while

I wanted to mow grass but it has been raining all day. So I will try to finish it off tomorrow.

Note to self. I have £272 in food and spending account till the end of the month. I must not waste money. I will be good. I will keep £100 for food and will give £50 to give to my dad for petrol (as he is my dad) and £122 for the next 28 days which is about £4.35 a day.

I just heard one of Steve's friends has lost his job. This is the second time he has faced redundancy and it's in printing I think. I am so grateful to have a job.

I must keep saving and it will be worth it in the end. I think I am going to be ambitious and go for a nicer kitchen and save £8000. I think that is a good number. According to the savings calculator in MAS it should take 2years and 3 months. Which is perfect as it will be in time for the Christmas sales.

My parents and niece are visiting which is great. House is clean and tidy. All I have to do is sorting out notes and some work prep. I will start it when parents leave.

Everyone is panicking about job cuts at work yet according to the Daily Fail the economy is growing. I wish it would grow for the public sector to protect our jobs. The fear of job loss is always there and is quite unnerving. We are the punchbags of this government.

I wish I had studied accountancy. I chose not to as it was sooo boring and I wanted to have a job with a conscience. All the accountants I know seem to be quite well off. With hindsight now I think I would change the degrees I chose.

Weather was stunning today. I met friends in Gunwharf and treated them to birthday pressies we also had a lovely calorific meal. All my spending was paid for out of my cash. No credit card usage involved at all.:j Yay.

Exactly 12 days after today to keep my head down and do lots of planning for the next work year. (On a positive front it will not involve spending any money!) :D:D

I have taken the day off. Weather was glorious although occasionally a little breezy. Am feeling vvv lazy.

I appear to have made £46.99 on fleabay (providing everyone pays for their purchases). Money is going towards paying off fleabay fees and then holiday fund.

I have had a lovely holiday and relaxed and completed many jobs I thought I wouldn't get round to. I think I would like to travel abroad again but financially I shan't be able to do it for a few years. Plus all my plants would die in the garden and I would totally freak out.

It will rain later but so far it is quite pleasant outside. I have plenty of filing to sort for work.

Steve and Andy are coming tonight and will cheer me up that will be my reward.

Does anyone own an Android box? Is it worth getting one?

I don't own an android box purely because hubby likes to channel hop. you can't do that with an android box. but it would definitely be cheaper and a good investment than sky or virgin.

Thanks aesop, I am going to discuss it with the boys. They have one and suggested I get one but I don't think I am IT savvy enough. They do all the IT stuff for me and also a nice IT man from work.

I just popped into work and cleaned the inside of my desk! Now it's all sparkling and ready for when we go back. I haven't got anywhere with my scheme of work and need to look at it but it is sooooo boring.

I placed a successful bid for a tv for my upstairs so I can move the 32inch one into my bedroom to watch tv before bed. It cost £122 and I am so chuffed I think it was cheaper than from the shops. :DOther than that I will not be using my credit card for the next month.:j I will also be living on baked beans for the rest of the month!
