Bless you for your advice. I will see if it sells. I just want to clear some space. Otherwise 3Dogs's getting a sack full of coast, hobbs, monsoon stuff for dog shelter.
Gardening is really hard work. I hope he is treating you to a cup of tea and some cake.
After a lazy day I have tidied medical cabinet and filed the last of my notes.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

I have had a weird lady telling me to reduce price of blooming expensive Coast skirt to £4 which I did now she has asked me to reduce postage to £2.50. Is she having a laugh? :eek:Does she know how heavy the skirt is? I will simply give it to charity. Rude lady.
What a cheek????
I have never heard of anyone doing such a thing!
Very rude woman - good for you not making the sale!!! :ADebt free 24/03/2015./ On Dave Ramsey's Baby Step 3./Full Emergency Fund 2500/6000./ Got mortgage on the 28/08/15./ 2015 MFW #117 1242.89/20000 -
Thank you both so much. I thought it was just me. In all the years I have been on fleabay I don't think I have ever encountered such a bossy person. Blimey I had a couple of interactions with her by email some poor specimen has to work and maybe even live with her. I wonder what that is costing the NHS in antidepressants! lol. Still I have made £32 today from dear old fleabay and am chuffed.
I am running out of things to sell and will have to find other ways to keep busy. Yuk. Might have to go into work soon to do tidying of desk. I have had these clothes (some of them brand new) in my wardrobe for years and cannot believe I didn't sell them sooner. I have given loads away to charity over the years. I do feel a bit guilty that I have made some money but I really want a kitchen. Slowly, slowly I am getting there.
I hope you have had a lovely day. Weather was glorious. I slept through most of it as still a bit run down but much better now.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Don't feel guilty for selling clothes instead Of giving to charity. Charity begins at home.
If you have run out of things to sell, take a look at some easy survey sites.0 -
Thanks for advice Aesop. You are a genius as usual. I reckon we are twins. I can't believe we went to university so close to each other and never met before MSE.
It rained pretty much all day so have had a lazy day and finished off filing lecture notes from years ago, posted a few things on fleabay, posted off the one's that sold. Cooked the most delish roast lamb and ate quite a bit!
Tomorrow I must hop on a bus and wonder around a bit or maybe I will do some gardening and make the most of the weather if it is nice. I should be meeting friends on Friday and going to cinema etc then on Saturday we go to Swanage beach with the gang. Yay.
Before then I must pop into work and do some tidying up round my desk area.
I am utterly chillaxed, upstairs in my house is v warm and I have a wonderful breeze just by my computer from the window. It feels heavenly. I can't afford Fiji or Hawaii but this is a pretty good second and much cheaper! Am going to explore telly channels and see what's happening in the worldAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hi if you care about the NHS please go today's Daily Mirror(online) and find article entitled "..dr's petition to sack .." enough signatures will enable a debate to take place in Parliament. Please help.
Having a chilled out day. Cleaned a few windows. Had great lunch. Been emailing petition to friends all day. Probably most useful thing done during my entire time on thread.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Okay, I have to make a confession. :embarasseI have just bought a red skirt and bag. I had to do it they were so well priced.
They are the only things I have bought in ages and I have sold lots of lovely clothes I don't want my wardrobe to be bare.:shhh:
I will be good. I will be good. I will be good.Steve says he is still talking to me. I am utterly ashamed but I do love nice clothes. You can still look nice if you are poor.
I will be good. I will be good. I promise.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Ok I have just done something really stupid but it's normal for me and my friends are used to me thank goodness. Andy (one of my friends) buys houses in nice places and does them up - I just sent him a begging letter asking if he could buy one in Swanage. He can do what he likes with the other rooms I just want one room. Wonder what he will say -only £925,000.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
We can all have a room each. Will you join me on naughty step? Going to sleep. Happy dreams. Goodnight.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
