Another NSD day today. I have lots of work to do this weekend and have to go in tomorrow in the weekend. Still it is one week closer to the next summer holiday. lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Just returned from work. I still have a fair bit to do but i think i will now have a break and do my ironing to some 80s pop music. So far this is a NSD. I am getting into the swing of things. I have £175 to last me till the end of the month including food money. This is because i overspent quite a bit when we went on holiday with the gang and had a £400 credit card bill. I pay for group meals on my credit card and forget how much they cost and it does catch me by surprise. I must stop doing this as i do think eating out is quite expensive. This is the new me. Miss Frugal i think.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

I have just returned from car boot sale. It was v busy i was there for almost 4.5 hours. Total spend was £5.00 plus £10 on food for me and driver. It may look like a lot but actually considering what i used to spend on meals and a day out it is cheap especially since i have loads of food to eat to last this week. Boiling hot outside. Might have a kip for a bit then will work v hard. :j
I am giving myself £8 for spending money at work next week. I will try to have NSDs however as I quite enjoyed having them last week.
I am pleased that I am saving and know that it is not as vehement as everyone else's as I want to have some fun too. I did lots of scrimping when I first moved into the house and now after almost 8 years I would like to enjoy myself a bit.
I do wonder when the economy will ever genuinely improve. I hate living with the fear of redundancy and all of my friends are living under this cloud also. When it does improve I will continue to save. I might not even get a kitchen because a cushion of savings will protect me if I lose my job. Roll on a solid recovery!!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
