Hello thank you so much Emily. A new kitchen would be great but in this job market I am saving to overpay the mortgage and for retirement. I have kind of given up on a new kitchen.

Work was ok. Glad to be home. I picked up a Chinese takeaway meal as I felt tired after a long day at work. I seem to have a timetable now and hope it will not change too much. My subjects are rubbish but I have taught some of them before. Fingers crossed that this will be a good year. I will be happy when my credit card is paid and feel much better.

I have paid off all of my credit card bill except for £33 which I will pay next month. I am waiting for a huge bill from my electricity company as I am changing suppliers. I reckon I will be pretty broke for this month. Still by next month all will be well as my wages have risen and I am not planning on spending much.

It should rain today so I am going to use my new rucksack! Rather excited about that.

Work was fine, I spent £1.30 on food and drink at work due to low blood sugars! I have many new subjects to teach and 4 days notice to write them from scratch. Here's hoping to a nice weekend of lesson planning!

I spent most of the day prepping! Lots to do this weekend. Guess who forgot to take her teabags in today and I treated myself to a nice cooked lunch. Cost £4.00

  • I hope the prepping doesn't take up your whole weekend SW. I bought food at work too :o I blame the cold weather. I think I will have to stock up on cuppa soups we get free hot water. Maybe you could take a food flask ?

I take so much food in but you are right then I really fancied a cooked meal as it was so grim outside weather wise. I don't fancy carrying a heavy flask in yet. I have so much rubbish to carry every day and I walk in so I will learn to curb my food impulses I suppose. lol.

It's cold, I had the biggest lie in. I have done one load of washing, two food shops £32 including some medicines, some lovely books from charity shop, fruit, the basics, and finally whoopsied meat which will keep me going till the end of the month.

  • Hey lovely lady,

I have been off on holiday for a couple of weeks so not been checking in.

Glad to hear you caught that leak early & got it fixed for £60.

Yay to the new bag, you are so like me! Bag addict, I can't seem to resist a nice bag.

Hope you are having a nice Sunday.

Hello Dolly, I hope your hols went well. I have been putting money into my money box and think of you when I do so!

I have been prepping all day. I am only half way there and have 4 lessons to write and photocopying still to do. I will have tomorrow to finish off.

  • They were bad then good.

It was my sham-iversary so took some time off cos this is the first one since the split so knew I wasn't gonna be feeling great, got that right!

The following week was great, went to London for my work besties 40th. We went to see Aladdin, drank lots of yummy cocktails and ate way too much. Was the best time, we went to Camden Markets - oh my it is my new favourite place ever!

Ah I started up my coin jar again yesterday.

I am glad you were able to spend part of the hols with your friends. Hang in there ok. It's his loss not yours.

I've been prepping all day and have only done 4/8 lessons. I have 4 more to do tomorrow. I did manage to do laundry and ate salad and cherries. lol. Kernackered.
