Thank you, Skinty. Today was my first day back. At present we don't know our numbers so I am taking it easy till I know what I am teaching!
It was a nice first day back I have had a big nap to recover :jAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I did some filing today. Oxford trip should be happening this weekend. Fingers crossed it's an extra £50 earned.
I have to do a bit of extra research for this. My salary will rise by £100 as well as this I also have my holiday earnings. Once I have paid off my insurance and final gas and electric bill I hopefully will be able to save some extra money. If I live carefully now it will be worth it in the long run.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

I completely understand Skinty I ended up taking today off to work at home as I wasn't needed which means I am rested enough to cope with a loooooong day tomorrow in Oxford but I am really looking forward to it. I cannot wait till payday.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Oxford was lovely, I did 18000 steps. Today hasn't been so good, first of all it rained, the lodger and girlfriend didn't leave for ages and I wanted to iron when they were gone. Then last night a pipe burst under the floor in the bathroom, the handyman is here hopefully putting it to rights. It might take a while.Luckily lodger will be away for a few days. I have no idea of how much it will cost. It is much colder today and it is darker too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Oooh, whereabouts did you go in Oxford?
Really sorry to hear about your burst pipe - well done for getting it fixed straightaway. A friend of mine has known for about 5 months that she has a leak in her bathroom and keeps on putting it off and having baths, even though water is going through into her kitchen....and she has a shower room downstairs, so there's no need to use the upstairs bathroom at all!!! Silly moo....0 -
Hello I took the students on a tour of the centre. We into Christchurch Cathedral, along the meadow past Merton College, into the Bod, Sheldonian, Radcliffe Camera and various colleges (from the outside). I showed them the Narnia Lampost and also the Narnia door!!!! We visited the Science Museum and saw Einstein's Theory of Relativity on the blackboard where he wrote it. We went into the Tolkein Exhibition and then the Ashmoleum Museum amongst other bits. Finally I let them do some shopping.
Whilst I am waiting for the builder to come I cant do any washing or mopping as the water is off! Hence I am sitting in bed chilling and reading the computer. I do have some sewing to do so I am going to have an easy day.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Indeedy, it cost £60 which I have borrowed from the mortgage fund. So happy this happened to one of my friends and it cost him £3,000 so I have got off v lightly.
Two days left till payday I cannot wait for my credit card to be paid. Then I will know how much I have left. I would like to make an overpayment on the mortgage if possible.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Now that all of my direct debits have gone out I have precisely £10 left in my account. I did spend £4 on a Chinese meal today. It will last for two days!
Tomorrow I have enough to buy tea at work and that is it. Roll on Friday and payday.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
