I was naughty today too and spent £5 in the co-op on 6 pack of pepsi max, 6 pack of crisps and some chocolate... all on offer - I only went in to use the post office and couldn't resist.:o

Hurrah for payday. I have ordered an expensive bag £47!!!!! No more treats at all this month. I am only buying food. I will be resting and staying in this weekend. I have [STRIKE]sewing, ironing[/STRIKE] and gardening to keep me busy:rotfl::rotfl:

  • Sewing, ironing and gardening doesn't sound very restful SW ;)

You decided not to buy the glittery backpack at £55 then ?

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

  • Hello I found the same thing on offer elsewhere. I will be doing everything on the cheap for the rest of the month to make up for it. Today really will be a lazy day. Im not planning to go out at all. Weather is glorious so I might iron in the garden.:j:j

Rather than spend money on transport I spent £8 on groceries at the corner shop. They aren't as nice as supermarket food but times are hard when you are stupid & buy bags that are unnecessary!!!! Still I did a healthy food shop. Now I am mowing the grass. The weather is glorious. I have my laptop outside and I am chilling in between mowing parts of the lawn.

All of us guides are a bit worried about our second holiday job as the work seems to have dried up for a bit. This is partly because we have a new lady doing planning and also because peak summer season is over. I rather like the money it has paid for the laptop and also savings. I hope some hours come up soon.

Today is my new day off at work. I have vacuumed, cleaned loos, windows, emptied bins, cleaned oven and washed whites. The boss at the Saturday job said they had hours for me and I would still have work. Hurrah. All of this money will be saved now towards my retirement fund or to pay off the mortgage.

We are waiting to hear if there will be redundancies at work again.

I have good news Skinty, the boss told me today that my job is safe. I will be teaching many new subjects but as long as I get paid I don't care.

I will keep plodding on and try to enjoy the good bits. I spent £0.60 today on tea. My rucksack came today. It is lovely. I now have 5 bags for work. One for every day of the working week. lol.
