KW and I spent 3 1/2 hours yesterday going through my school stuff - I now know I have a post-it problem, a notebook problem and a pen problem.....so many!!

Going to put everything in boxes to sort out once we've moved :)

Hurrah for nice weather. Rather than going for a walk I went to the supermarket. Cost £26 plus £8 for taxis.

I want to mow the grass but it is sooo hot. I will have a go a little later.

Life it strange isn't it? Skinty is going through hell and i am sitting here feeling so calm. I have prayed for her and had a little cry too. Poor flower we love her life is so difficult sometimes.

For me, today is a day for communing with greenery and the environment. I am going to take comfort in the natural beauty which is all around us. No matter what is happening in our lives, trees and flowers will grow and we should look at them. God is with us and we can see his work everyday.

I marked from 9-4.30!!!! I also managed to finish mowing the grass. It is still glorious but it will thunder in about half an hour if the forecast is correct. It's flooded in many parts of the country. Which reminds me when I renew my insurance Im going to get accidental cover just in case.

I have been marking for a few hours. Now for a rest and then I will carry on again. It has been raining heavily so I shan't be watering the garden for a while. It is so nice to be at home even if nothing is on the tv.

    It's payday tonight.

I owe £376 for this month and next month's credit card bills. I will pay this off early using £228 in my current account (including my xmas fund) and £148 from my wages. I also have two birthday's to save for this month.

Gosh I am clearly spending more than £120 a month on fun. THIS HAS TO STOP as I am being stupid. I keep saying i shan't buy from fleabay then i do; I keep saying I am a frugalista and then I see that I am overspending sooooo much.

I will withdraw £60 cash (envelope system) and only spend that on fun, and use my credit card just for food shopping (£100-120). I will also try to walk to the supermarket to keep costs down. I will also log out of fleabay for the next month too as it is temptation.

I am waiting in tomorrow for perfume, lavender and grass seed to arrive. I will also mark. I can't believe how much work I have done. So pleased.

I have been paid and I have £188 to live on for the month. I may use credit card for food but will try to just use cash.

    I'm going to be good.

It is raining all day. I will do as much work as possible. :j I planted all of my grass seed this morning and need another lot. I don't know if I should wait till next payday as it's not an essential.

My cheapo perfume came today too its instead of Issey Miyake, I will use this M&S version in the house and my proper one for work. I have finished all my work for today. It only took 4 hours.

Now all I have to wait for are the lavender plants.I have some clematis plants to put into my garden too.

    Today is a NSD. Yay.

I'm wondering if I should switch my current account to Barclays? I might make some extra money for my Christmas fund? Free money vs their customer service reviews? I shall think about it.

I did 5 mins on the cross dresser today. ~Tomorrow I will do more. I have to lose weight I am 61.5kg. This is getting ridiculous. Summer is nearly here. I have all these great clothes and I can't fit into them.

    Jobs to do today:
    [STRIKE]Clean 3 sinks
    Vacuum
[/STRIKE]Do last bit of marking - tomorrow?
Plant the clematis - soil too waterlogged will try over weekend.
    [STRIKE]Buy fruit[/STRIKE]

I ended up doing a 10000 step walk to town to buy some fruit. I spent £19 ( £11 in poundshop, £3 on gardening books and £5 on fruit). I shouldn't have bought the gardening books but I do like looking at the pictures.

I also did a 30 min jog. Hope I can walk tomorrow. lol.:rotfl: Gosh I am ashamed of how bad I look. Please let the weight just fall off before the summer. I have 6 weeks to pull myself together. So far nothing hurts.

Well done on the 10000 steps SW ! I've no idea how many I walk a day but I'm sure its nowhere near that many even with puppy walks

I like the idea of the envelope system but the trouble is if I have cash in my purse I spend it, whereas if I have to use my card I think more about. I need to be more careful this month as I don't want to buy anything else on the credit card

Morning all, it is gorgeous outside. I haven't slept well for days but I am feeling positive.

Skinty I only walk to and from work (only 6000 steps) on days off and weekends and holidays I barely leave the house. You are much fitter than me as you walk puppy.

    Things to do today:
    • [STRIKE]Finish marking.
    • Try to plant clematis plants.
      [/STRIKE]
    • I can't mow the lawn till the seeds have grown so i am going to rest for a bit and then
      [STRIKE]Jog for 45 mins[/STRIKE]

I keep seeing adverts for lovely holidays abroad. My summer holiday will be spent at home largely with some days with the boys in the New Forest. I wish I had the money to go somewhere really glam. Im not going to feel sorry for myself. In the summer I am going to get fit and make my garden lovely.

Hi SW, do you have any recommendations for places to stay in the New Forest please? I'd like to take DD away for a mummykins/daughterkins couple of nights break, preferably not too far away or too hideously expensive! We've never been to the NF ya see.....

    Thanks in advance!

Morning all. Hello Kittykins, I will ask Steve and Andy for help. They live in Lymington right in the town centre it is lovely.

I am having a lovely morning and am planning to walk to the supermarket for exercise and whoopsies. Let's hope I get the timing right. Lodger is washing clothes today so I might do some tomorrow.
