I thought they were giving out extra hours ? Surely your contract states how many hours you get paid for ? I didn't realise they expect you to work for free

This job relies on a lot of goodwill. I will make sure my seniors are aware of it. It is only for this week and I will not do any extra after this for sure.

All is well am drowning in work but it should be over by the weekend when I hope to make the most of the weather. Today was a NSD. Hurrah.

Weather is still nice I will look forward to enjoying it this weekend.

Hello riotlady, it was fabulous. OMG Megan's dresses are lovely. Both Kate and Megan will be great role models for girls and are much better than the Big Brother types that kids fixate on nowadays.

    How old do I sound??????

I have nipped to corner shop to replace lodger's chocs which I raided in a hypo last night. Including odds and sods I spent £7. He just laughs at me.

I've a bit of work to do but I might do it outside in the sun when it heats up a little more. It is so lovely but a bit breezier than usual.
