Hope you got your work done in the sun. I spent nearly all of the weekend in bed :( Started feeling yuk with cold/sinus thing during the day at school on Friday, felt gruesome at the end of our night out on Friday and have barely got up since!!

Hoping to sit out for a bit today as I'm off school :( but I think I need to be!

At least whilst I'm not at school, I'm not spending money.....

Hope you are better KK. Lots of backstabbing going on in our staffroom. You'd never guess it was in education more like Fagin's Bloody Den. Roll on the holidays. I hope my manager's manager has some integrity and will keep her promise to me. I don't know if I should hold out any hope?

Hope the backstabbing has moved on to more interesting things! Talk of backstabbing - the acolyte of my nemesis complained, with support from sycophants about me and 3 others' supposed issues whilst on a school trip. It has backfired on them. The 4 of us were dumbfounded by the allegations and were able to give precise details of exactly what we were doing at all times during the trip, naming specific children and their behaviour, querying acolyte's leadership of the event etc etc.

Acolyte has been out for 2 days on a course and may be unaware of how badly this has gone down around school, particularly amongst 2 of the other accused, who do not take anything lying down.....she deserves whatever she gets, quite frankly.

The head needs to think about how she handles her minion - she has a history of crying to her to try and get other people into trouble, to make herself look good. It keeps on backfiring. Head needs to consider both possible sides of the story before just firing off angry emails and shouting at the accused, taking acolyte's opinion as gospel!

They all need to grow up and for me, roll on July!

    Lol, thank goodness it is half term. One week away from all of the nonsense. Don't trust my boss an inch after this week. We shall see how decent her boss is in September...!!!8230;

Thank goodness for the weekend. I'm going to chill I feel totally exhausted. Next week I have plenty of marking to keep me busy.

I've dried some clothes on the line since I got in from work. Just checking my credit card bill £162 and as much in my bank account. Yikes.

I've ordered some cheap lavender plants for £11.00 for the back garden. This will be an expensive month, I have 3 birthdays to budget for: lodgers, niece's and also friend.

It was supposed to rain today but we ended up with glorious sunshine of 26degrees. I took my friend to lunch and bought her some plates for her kitchen for xmas and birthday. Total spend £86. She is always treating me so it was worth it. I am going to use my xmas fund to pay for this.

I dried my washing when I got in and it only took an hour. Hence all washing is dry without dryer. hurrah.

I waited till late for the lightening but we didn't have any. We had a bit of thunder this morning and a v light rain shower. Weather for today is predicted to be lovely.

Today's exciting day (:o -other people go abroad for their hols and I tidy) will be as follows:

    [STRIKE]1. Ironing. [/STRIKE]
2.[STRIKE] [STRIKE]Move all of the subject folders I no longer use into the garage to make way for all of this year's folders which I will tidy in the summer hols. How embarrassing. [/STRIKE]I realised when I looked that I did this already in a previous holiday.
    [/STRIKE[STRIKE]]3. Vacuum[/STRIKE]
    4. A small walk.
    5. I could mow some grass?
