The person that came today seems genuine and very honest. Very different from Rigsby I felt like he was so nice and would be fun to live with. He does smoke though. I will see what tomorrow's visitor is like and hope I can make the right decision.

    Fingers crossed. :j

  • I am glad you have some new potential lodgers lined up. Smoking is a difficult one. Do any of your friends smoke in your house ? Do you think you could put up with the smell ? I am an ex-smoker and I couldn't have anyone smoking in my house now. Hope it all works out whatever you decide x

Bless you Skint Yet Again, one of my best friends has told me not to rush into anything as I am not at risk of losing my house. Just at risk of not saving as much as I had been. I can hold on.

i saw someone today who was interested in the house and seemed nice but assertive but she will have problems paying her rent as the boys explained to me when I explained her financial situation. I really liked her but can't afford to have someone who will struggle as I am struggling anyway.

Let's hope someone applies soon. I might have to go with the tenant from yesterday who was nice as I think it's the financial situation that is upsetting me so much. I keep crying and feel really bad. I hope it stops soon.

I have left a message on his phone and hope he is a good choice. We shall see. The weather is clearing up outside. I am going to go to the supermarket and stock up on healthy food.

Do you live on your own, SavingWannabe? Would you not feel uncomfortable living with a stranger man?

Hi Blue Mango, yes I do, a bit maybe. But he seems nice and genuine. I'm just going to hope it will be ok. I need to have a change to take away some of the job insecurity and to raise my income which has dropped by £5k.

We shall see tomorrow when he signs the contract. He seems very genuine. Please let it be ok. I am going to save as much as possible of the money.

My Christmas tree looks great. :j I did a really healthy food shop for £23 and spent £8 on taxis.
